Mew application not porting..my issue is they are not very proactive and their broker is not responsive to themshan2627 said:They didn't say, so are they porting their mortgage? Best thing to do is get them to call first thing at 9 and you will get answers. I did this first thing and got through pretty much straight away.0 -
Quick update on my application..
I FINALLY managed to get through to Platform. They faxed the valuation report 11/12 (WHY DO THESE COMPANIES STILL USE FAX?!?) so I checked the number which was wrong!! They had two numbers mixed up. If it had been emailed to the wrong email address it would have bounced back, but no one knew it had gone to the wrong number so we were waiting for something that was never going to happen. I now find it really hard to believe that my solicitors were chasing this form as a 2 minute conversation revealed the problem.
We've also been waiting for the gifted deposit confirmation from Platform but this hasn't been sent at all as it "got mixed up and we missed it out".
We really wanted to be in our new home for Christmas, and if it wasn't for incompetence/lack of effort then there is a very good chance we would have been.
Do we have grounds for a complaint here? Either with our solicitor or with Platform?

It's just a letter from the lender confirming in writing that they are happy with the gifted deposit ie. they are satisfied from the evidence (bank statements etc) that the money has been obtained/saved legallymowgliisaG said:

let’s hope platform are open tomorrow and pushing through some applications!!!! By buyers are 42 working days in!!!0

I am....over 12 weeks from the paperwork went to Platform and over 16 weeks from the start of the process when I booked my first call with them. I’m porting though and if your buyers are new customers it’ll be a lot quicker. Platform are now outside of the 12 weeks timeline which was initially 6-8 weeks. I appear to have no control / no ability to do anything and just have to sit and wait until they decide to finish my application review. Has anyone else had this?mowgliisaG said:let’s hope platform are open tomorrow and pushing through some applications!!!! By buyers are 42 working days in!!!0 -
Wow that is utterly ridiculous..12 weeks as current customers. Yes I’ve read on here new customers are dealt with faster...which doesn’t make sense...is the current wait time 12 weeks? Have you rang up?Joiningtocomment said:
