  • Thankyou. The valuationand survey is free, part of product we have applied for. Application only went in 2nd sept so I'm just getting itchy feet.
But after 2 unsuccessful applications, not rejects, just pulling products, and our offer going in mid July we are feeling so very anxious that the seller is going to pull out soon as we are taking so long.
If you've only put in the application in a couple of weeks ago, don't expect an offer from Planform until at least November!

    Good luck!
Eek! and there was our broker assuring us it would be 3 weeks...!!
  • We are on working day 32 since they received our application. Note though that we are already customers and we started the process to port and borrow a small extra on 14th July and the earliest they could start with their mortgage advisor was 23rd July. That took 2.5hours and then it took a week for us to receive a pack which seemed to have the same questions as the phone call so that then took another 2 - 3 hours to fill in. Sent that off with the requested docs which they received on 7th Aug.
  • Yeah working day 35 for us since application, although they do keep asking for more information so maybe that resets the clock? It's been 6 days since the last time we sent them anything - such a long slog.
  • It'd be interesting to know how many people on this thread are now above the current 26 working days on average, according to Platform, to get offered a mortgage
Working Day 25 here...I’m not holding my breath though.

We haven't had to send in any extra documents so it is puzzling. They said to us on Friday that they had approved our application for an offer but it would take 14 working days(it was 10 days a few days before so timescale seems to have shifted) for the offer to get through to us. Today is working day 7.

It's been 36 working days for us. On 2nd September they asked for our most recent pay slips and on 10th September they asked for the name of our solicitor. Haven't heard anything since but that's down to our Broker not contacting them. Platform advised me yesterday when I called them direct that they should come back to the Broker within 3 days.
  • Just spoke to my Mortgage Broker and for those who have submitted their application on the W/C 1st of September, Platform has advised that applications submitted on that date will be reviewed on the W/C 5th October  :| and priority applications will be those who have been submitted on the 17th of August. Is there any truth in this at all? have similar brokers been advised of this?

Hmmm .... 17th August you say? Does that date have any significance? Did they say applications received before 17th August or those received on that particular day of 17th August?

I suspect it'll be applications before - so some hope for some. I guess I'll have to wait till December I guess

I will be patient. I will call them on Thursday to see if the offer that was approved has inched any closer to being posted out to us. I am calling them once a week and with every call sometimes we get new information on progress.
