ES1989 said:Hi Joeksemail, thanks for your comments. Also I believe you posted l the Intermediary lending criteria In an earlier post which was also greatly appreciated. The late payment is with HSBC but it was due to a switch in bank accounts. They have accepted fault, however the update to the credit agencies seems to be taking some time. It’s just a littler nerve racking as you don’t know how much comfort to take from passing the hard check DIP. I note you applied with Platform a similar time to myself. We have today had confirmation they are completing a valuation on 29th. Have you had any news?
Just on a side note, all companies that report to the CRAs are able to do an "expedited update" to the CRAs, its usually a team lead etc in collections. If its taking its time and they have admitted fault, just keep banging the drum and say you have spoken to the CRA and you know they are able to do it and to get it done as its about to lose you a house.0 -

I was hopeful that we would be able to exchange next week on Friday but having called our bank, what was up to 10 days to receive the offer seems to have changed up to 14 working days as of my call to them today. Gah! Now our move date will definitely be in October. The other thing that spooked me a little from my phone call with the bank, they mentioned that our application had been approved for an offer. He then went to explain something along the lines of it now going to HQ for approval to issue the offer. I thought we had an offer and that it was just in a queue for the offer pack to be issued.
This is stressful to say the least. Our buyers are chomping at our heels to get a move on.

I have never had any push back on me being the end customer and I have been upfront about that with them from the start of the call.0 -
I'm not sure why but so far the process for me has been much quicker than what others have experienced on here, I just hope my good luck continues...
01/09: Agreement in principle
03/09: Application submitted via MA
08/09: Survey carried out
17/09: Been informed survey is fine & MA expects an offer by the end of next week0 -
