I am thinking the same, mine was submitted on the 8th July!!! I get there backlogged but waiting all this time with little to no updates is ridiculous. I am actually shocked to hear so many people in the same boat!DeletedUser said:I honestly don't understand why it's taking them so long? If, according to this forum, they're looking at cases in August, yet mine, submitted in July, still hasn't been approved or rejected?
HURRY!It's insane! The average wait at the moment is 21 working days, so you're well overdue a decision.Platform need to get their act together!0 -
When I first submitted my application I was told their SLA was 5 working days, then that increased to 10, then 23 and now according to Platform's website it's 26 working days to receive an offer.DeletedUser said:elmal1997 said:

Congratulations, what a relief! Did you have to provide much more information after the application was submitted?sm77j said:

We had to wait a week after application to submit proof of deposit (needed some funds to clear) - but they had all our docs since 20th July. They used countrywide for our valuation and that was the longest hold up - earliest they could do was 28rh August!rdunn_ said:

Oh that’s good to hear, what a relief for you! Hopefully I’ll hear this week - fingers crossed! I cannot believe how long it takes... I am definitely going to put in a complaint once I’ve received my offer (if I ever bloody do!) it’s taken the excitement out of the whole process!sm77j said:

I didn’t see a hard search on equifax but I’m with check my file and it is on there only 1 credit search agency has it reported, on the day of application.DeletedUser said:E-mailing my adviser every other day at the moment. Platform are hideously slow. Application sent through adviser in the last week of July.
Thursday I was told it was being send back to the case handler, and should hear something in 48 hours which elapsed yesterday. Still heard nothing.
E-mailed adviser yet again, she's on the case.
What is taking them so long? They haven't even done the hard search on credit yet, but according to adviser all documents sent look OK.
aaaarrrrghhhhWho are you with?

I have just spoken to Platform myself this morning and as of today (16/09) they are processing applications from (16/08) so are a month behind. My application was submitted on 03/09. She is saying my first underwrite will not be until the first week of October.
She was quite happy to speak to me (she was lovely actually) and I called at 9am and got through at 9.15am on 0345 070 1999 Opt.2.
I asked if they could start the valuation process whilst waiting for the first underwrite to speed things up and she was happy to kick that off, whether it actually happens or not is yet to be seen.
Overall I was actually quite impressed with the service, lets just hope they follow through.1 -
Interesting. They've actually done two hard searches. One a couple of days after the application was sent in by adviser for the DIP amount, then another on 8th September which was for £500 less than the DIP amount.DeletedUser said:
