Thursday I was told it was being send back to the case handler, and should hear something in 48 hours which elapsed yesterday. Still heard nothing.
E-mailed adviser yet again, she's on the case.
What is taking them so long? They haven't even done the hard search on credit yet, but according to adviser all documents sent look OK.

We are also having a very long process with platform. Every step is taking around 4 working days and they have asked for extra documentation quite a bit!3rd August we got our DIP4th August we submitted our full application13th August valuation booked in20th August Valuation complete, more information requested (confirmation that we only have one phone number each, new format of gifted deposit letters, and confirmation of vendors address)2nd September - (9 working days since previous update) more information requested, my partner's newest payslip and confirmation of their work address.8th September - (4 working days since previous update) more information requested - more bank statements, requested clarification on my partner's new salary, we thought this just meant us saying yes we confirm he'd had a payrise but I guess they were asking for formal documentation.14th September - (4 working days since previous update) more information requested - more bank statements (since the previous one didn't have day to day spending in it, so I sent them our joint account as well) and a written confirmation of my partner's new salary.Let's see whether that's enough this time, but I'm expecting that in 4 working days we'll just get asked for another piece of information.
It's really useful to hear in this forum that people are having similar timelines!0 -

Not sure how common our situation is or whether this will be helpful to anyone else but - we sent all of our bank statements (joint and current) at the time that we applied, but because my partner was on reduced pay due to covid for the two months prior, and due to be back to 100% in August they asked for another payslip for the month of August, which was after we'd made the application, which we provided. Then 4 working days later they asked for his bank statement so we thought they'd just need the bank account that his salary was paid into for the August period so we sent that, but as we found out 4 working days later they actually wanted all bank statements again.
Not sure exactly where the breakdown in communication is - but the exact extra documentation they needed wasn't clear (to us) on the first request so it has taken 3 iterations, and may still be more!0 -

I was told by MA that they now have all my documents, and that I should hear something in 48 hours (either the Saturday or Monday just gone) and my application was going back to the case handler, whatever that means. MA said that if the docs are OK, which she says are, my case should go straight to offer.
It is no surprise that we are now onto day 4 of 2 and tumbleweed from platform.
I appreciate its a busy time for them, but I'm way over the average time for an offer, am now into week eight. It would be great if we could track the status of our applications without having to go through the MA every time!
It's good to know many others seem to be in the same situation!0 -

Really hope they don't want my September payslip because I haven't return to full time hours until this week, there will be some furlough pay in there! AAAAAAGGGHHH!

Heard back from platform another clarification of a standing order required on bank statement. MA advises 2-4 days before we get a response. Back to the underwriters AGAIN perhaps third time lucky? Hoping we’ll have an answer by Monday. As date of entry is moving in fast0

joeksemail said:I have just spoken to Platform myself this morning and as of today (16/09) they are processing applications from (16/08) so are a month behind. My application was submitted on 03/09. She is saying my first underwrite will not be until the first week of October.
She was quite happy to speak to me (she was lovely actually) and I called at 9am and got through at 9.15am on 0345 070 1999 Opt.2.
I asked if they could start the valuation process whilst waiting for the first underwrite to speed things up and she was happy to kick that off, whether it actually happens or not is yet to be seen.
Overall I was actually quite impressed with the service, lets just hope they follow through.0
