    Hi
Has anyone heard or received any vouchers for the scheme yet?
    Thanks

Thank you for contacting the Green Homes Grant Scheme.

I am sorry to hear that you have not yet received confirmation of your application in regard to registering with the Green Home Grant Scheme. We are currently receiving an extremely high volume of applications at the moment and this has meant that there may be a slight delay in a confirmation email being sent out.

However just so you know, you will receive an email notifying you when your application is online and available for you to access. This email will provide steps to create unique login credentials. You can expect to see emails allowing self-service access to your online application after 30th November.

Once again, we do apologise for any inconvenience caused and would advise you to contact us if you have any other queries.

Had a phone call back and the man is coming out next Weds. He said the whole scheme is a shambles!
He’s driving about 25 miles to see me, so not too bad...
I’ve double checked and they’ve been in business 30 years.
  • I got conned on last Green deal buy paying the survey fee then all quotes received for work was over what the Government said it would cost. This deal there is no survey fee so thought I would take a look, went to Gov web site and their recommended trades people, emailed 15 trades in local area that they avised to use, to date (13th October) still not received 1 reply? So if no one in the area will do grant work how can I take advantage?
  • No supplier for outside doors near RG27 8NE. Glamorgan is the nearest.
  • We use a weird hybrid of coal and oil so effectively have two heating systems in a house which is 160 years old and the lowest in terms of IPC. Went through the questions and the potential improvements were...... none. We dont even have loft insulation (on my list). Baffled to say the least...
  • First time commenting on here so apologies if I don't do this correctly.  I've tried ringing several companies off the registered list re GHD and everyone says they are not participating and don't know why they are on the list. Some have said they are trying to get removed from the list and all are saying they have not been contacted by the government or contacted them to have their name on the list! I am struggling to find anyone to give me a quote so I can apply. Reading the comments here, it looks like I've got no chance. Very frustrating...why can't it just be simple and straightforward? What are we paying these people in government to do? Are they just tick boxing so they can say they did something  or is this a game where we have to find out which deal is the most confusing and inaccessible? The old Green deal was the same...absolute shambles. Apologies for rant but I'm fed up! It drains my time and I'm getting no where fast. I do hope Martin and his colleagues will keep battling on our behalf as they seem to listen to them.

Which list are you using exactly? Are you using this list https://www.simpleenergyadvice.org.uk/installer-search ?

  • Green house grant scheme can't find any installers to provide quotes in Southport Merseyside and need 3 for applications form. Call 3 on the list all out of area. Frustrated

Although I was able to register with one company after hearing nothing and emailing them again, they now say they aren't currently booking flat roof surveys.  I have found 2 others which I will contact.  I can only find 3 in the whole country, and nowhere near me, that do double glazing.  Blimey!!!
  • After calling a ridiculous number of approved installers, we finally found one person offering the scheme and he was inundated and unable to provided quote. Complete waste of time
