Voucher email now sent to installer, waiting on a date for a survey.  Can't believe this may finally get done!
  • 1st applied in October.
    Still haven't got vouchers.
They keep saying it's being processed.
Took a couple of months to confirm land registry.
    Getting annoyed now

I applied at the start of November, and have chased them at least once a fortnight since early Feb.  I wasn't asked to confirm land registry, in fact the only thing they asked for was proof why the quote was expensive.  I sent that at the start of Jan, it's been processing ever since.  They couldn't tell me what a normal price was, so I had no way of knowing if any quote was fair, and the quote I used was nearly £1500 cheaper than the next person.

I only had my flat roof voucher, not my front door.  I'm going to give up on that one TBH, get it done by a local firm instead.

    Well done🙂
  • Well after applying just before Christmas and chasing a couple of times a week on the phone (35 calls in total), a few web chats, and finally a complaint email.

    I have my voucher!!!

Don't give up, I came close. Now pleased I didn't. Work booked in for end of May!!!
  • British Gas has forgotten to send an email reminding about the meter reading for FIT payments. Their 'help' line said it's all changed now and done a different way! Solar has been installed for about 10 years, it's not new. Does anybody have any idea about any of this?

    Help would be much appreciated.

You've posted in a thread about the current Green Homes Grant scheme, which I assume has no relevance to your question..

Probably best to start a new thread of your own.  Within the Energy part of the forum - index here, click on new thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/energy

Same here; I applied early Jan. They never asked for any ID on the original application but when I rang on 1 Mar to find out why I had heard nothing, they informed me I needed to email two proofs of ID; which I did the same day. Guess what, they wanted more ID as they lost the first two I sent. I sent in others - I have since emailed them sixteen PDF attachments of various proofs of id including my land registry certificate/docs and marriage cert. It's farcical to say the least. Good luck.
