Hello, I thought I would give my timeline too.
08th Jan 2020 (Friday 6 PM) - Submitted Full Application - Soft Affordability and Hard credit checks done on the same time.
11th Jan 2020 (Monday 10 AM) - Received an email from my Mortgage Advisor that Mortgage offer has been sent over in email.
75% LTV, online valuation done.
I have only submitted my payslips, not even bank statements.
Never expected this quick turnaround.

Still ongoing!
Just before Christmas they said we could have a mortgage subject to valuation. They took their time and we heard nothing about when this would be instructed. Roll forward to 5th January, they then said valuation was not instructed and they required an accountant to confirm future earnings which they can't do. We sent a reply back stating our position and they have now said they need tax calculations for 18/19 which are in the office and under lockdown rules we cannot access. So we have asked the accountant if he has this. Waiting to hear back. Won't kniw more till Friday.
Completely fed up at this point!0 -

I'm really hoping that our application is a bit quicker than some on here!!
Remortgage to Halifax 85% LTV (1 satisfied CCJ for £279 from 2015 no other late payments/defaults/adverse credit)
AIP 20.12.21
Full application submitted 12.01.21 (most up to date wage slips requested for both parties and submitted)
Valuation booked for 13.01.21
They have carried out soft searches on both of our credit files today but no hard searches done as yet.0 -
Ours was very quick. We did all the questions using a Halifax advisor on Saturday but ran out of time. Finished this afternoon at 2pm. Valuation done as a desktop valuation. Got a phone call at 5pm saying offer is through. Only had to submit payslips. Really impressed with Halifax.1

We have a physical valuation tomorrow morning so don't think ours will be as quick as that!0 -
