What was that? Did you say something Churchmouse :D :rotfl:
    I'm positive I'd be admitted to. :p

Granny Why don't you just write a letter or make one of you own. Or you could even wrap yourself up and say Surprise!! :D Oh, don't cry buckets. It's not the end of the world. 36 years count's for more than a card. I'm sure he'd rather you in person than a card.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Thanks Aussie

Have done a wee note just now - and will wrap myself up for a wee surprise! Just so angry that the card couldn't be found.

    PS

Tried to thank you on numerous occasions just now and not showing up.

    Hi all,

Kyle, as others have said, learning to drive would give you so much freedom and really boost your self esteem….so go for it! As for Haribo, I don’t even recommend getting into the car with her, let alone contemplating allowing a madwoman like her to teach you!
Hilstep, Hugs. We lost our mum almost 20 years ago. It was very sudden and seemed very hard at the time, but sometimes I think it must be easier than watching a parent get ill over a long period of time.
ellie, I’m glad you aren’t too upset about the job. I hope something you want will come up soon.
Aussie and Churchmouse, I’m glad I’m not alone in leaving Christmas to the last minute.
redruby, sorry to hear about your daughters ear…I hope she feels better soon.
stayathomemumof1, I hope your Dad is recovering from his op today.

I’ve had a rubbish day. After a very late night, I was wakened at 6.30am by Adam. Mum, my face is swollen…and boy had it! This was one of the things the doctors had told us might happen and that if it did we must contact the hospital immediately. So we did and he was admitted to the day ward for more tests. So we spent the day together stuck in the ward, but he’s got a fantastic sense of humour so we had a few laughs too. Thankfully the swelling has gone down and he’s home again now and unless anything more happens, he doesn’t have to go back until next Wednesday. I don’t care if I never see another hospital again!

When we got home I was in foul form because I hadn’t even made the beds before we left, but got a lovely surprise which made my day. My first Christmas card! :D And it was a very special one from a lovely lady. Thank you Aussie :kisses3: Only one thing…Dh wants to know who the heck Simon is?

Ok, off to have a peek at the boards and hopefully an early night.

    See you all tomorrow.

Such a bad influence and all that. :D I've just remembered where I got Simon from. So sorry. I hope Adam has no more setbacks. Glad your surprise cheered up your day. :)

Granny I'd leave out the wee if I were you. What is it about you scots. :D

I'm off to catch the ferry in a mo. Sleep well. Byeeeeeeeeee

    Hi

A big hug to hilstep and stressedoutmum

Well today I have been rained on, hailed on ,rained on and hailed on again! The weather here has been HORRIBLE! I spent about 5 hours driving from various places on messages and getting the stuff for DD2's birthday party which is on Saturday. I need to work out just how much I've spent today but I'm avoiding that. :o

I have just finished a packet of crisps and discovered that part of my tooth is missing. Guess I must have swallowed it! So I'll have to try to get a dental appointment asap...so that will be at least £45 odd (or more) disappearing into the distance.
