I'm probably being over-cautious, but don't shred everything just yet.
It is possible that they may issue a claim, even though it is statute barred, in an attempt to hoodwink you.
You need to keep some evidence to challenge that misbehaviour.5 -
@Coupon-mad yes of course, anything I can do after you guys helped me so much to beat this.
@KeithP good point, I'll keep it all for a few months at least although it'd be soo satisfying shredding it all.1 -
Hi, I hope you don't mind me posting this.... I was issued with a PCN from Smark parking in May 2022 and since then had received numerous letters from DRP before they past me on to CST law (I ignored all letters).
After reading all the brilliant advice offered on this forum and receiving an LBC I did respond to CST law, however, with the template that was being used by people. This was a few months back and I had heard nothing since, so thought it had gone away but now this morning I have received this letter...enclosed with the original PCN.
I'm assuming I can ignore it and see it as more scaremongering (clearly they can't acknowledge the dispute) but just wondered if anyone else had heard anything more from CST after submitting their response to the LBC?
Thanks for you're help

Thanks for you're helpPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

@TWJayne88, please start your own thread where you will receive advice relative to your situation. Unfortunately, piggybacking on to someone else's thread is the equivalent of butting into someone else's conversation and muddying the water. Just use the big red "Create Post" button at the top of the forum. Thank you.2

This is a group thread so OK in this instance unless the OP needs bespoke advice after a formal letter of claim.5 -
Hi folks,
I know you'll hate me for asking, and I've trawled through the newbie posts and this one looking for the answer - I've received an unpaid debt notice from CST law (DRP and Apcoa train station) I appealed by letter initially to Apcoa and stupidly said I was driving and that on the day there was an issue with the ticket meter. I didn't actually hear from them but they obviously forwarded it to DRP and now CST.
I've looked at the forums to find the answer as what to do next, but can only find info about not admitting the driver.
What do I do if they know I'm the driver? I'm so stressed and worried.
Tia and sorry0 -
Ignore anything and everything from now on except a real court claim.
If APCOA do issue a court claim, you will be the first ever. The belief is that they don't bother with court because enough people fold and pay up that their millionaire owners CBA to do more work for only a little gain.I married my cousin.
