They are not saying the PCNs are six years old.
I'm not seeing the date of those PCNs; please tell us more on your own new thread so we can help.
Did you know about them? Please answer in your own new discussion.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This is NOT @Josxxx's thread! Please start your own thread where you will get advice and support. Hijacking someone else's thread is the equivalent of interrupting someone else's conversation mid-flow.
Please read, re-read and read again the Newbies/FAQ thread for initial guidance before posting your question.2 -
I am sorry for the hijacking the thread and I won't do it again. I will create a new post.4

Hi,
I've had a letter from CST LAW says unpaid debt - reminder notice and to make payment to DRP. From reading the newbie thread, at this moment I can ignore the letters and not get in touch with them?0 -
Definitely. Anything connected to DRP can be ignored.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all,
Just wanted to give a bit of an update. So all the way back on page 48 I wrote about how I got a LBC from CST law-to do with a parking charge from Euro car parks. This was after not hearing much for quite a while (was nearly 4 years after the charge) as their last ditch attempt to get me to pay up by passing it onto CST.
I followed the advice on the site and then waited, and waited, and waited lol. So this was back in March 2021 and I have not heard a thing since from either ECP, CST law or any other debt company. It's now been six years since the time I parked in the car park, so I can now consider the matter closed right and they know they cannot chase me anymore?
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on the forum for their help in this matter and as well to let people know what to expect from CST law which is hopefully nothing. Should say it was only a single charge, and I have no idea if they are more likely to take action over multiple charges. As per my experience, there is not much to worry about. I actually can't believe it's been 6 years, but it has!

In England/Wales, The Limitations Act 1980 protects you from being sued through the legal process after 6 years, so you're safe from court proceedings. However, ECP and any of their henchmen, theoretically, can continue you to harass you (silly letters and/or phone calls) until the day you fall off your perch. It won't happen, but just so you know. Unlike in Scotland where 5 years applies with the real added bonus that, legally, the (alleged) debt is extinguished and any further pursuit would be illegal.
Well done in seeing this off. 👍
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
