seen LBC;s for Northern Ireland involving Smart over 9K recently and territory where parking firms dont normally venture i would certainly think they will try given the sums involved
Dont be led in to a false sense of security that just because your norther of T'wall you are safe....... (not saying pay up OR that they will issue a claim, but the maths are there for big claims0 -

Should I reply to CST law and request SAR from SMART ? Any further comments would be appreciated0

WHy not SAR Smart. Cant hurt can it, and you will know more as a result.
Responding to CST law denying any alleged debt and requiring them to disclose the evidence they have would be good.5 -

The whole point of a 'group thread' is that everybody learns from how others are doing things and thus removing the need to re- ask the same questions.
Even if those questions haven't been asked on this thread, they are certainly addressed in the NEWBIES thread.4 -
Why don't you just read other threads about CST Law and Smart LBCs about Scotland or NI?
This one for example, where I just posted what to do:

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

following on from my original post, (link here if you wish to read https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6094737/apcoa-parking-debt-recovery-plus/p1)
hoping someone could help here?
'for the alleged contravention Use of Private Car Park without a valid payment/permit'
this is the same story for all the other PCN's
we pay a weekly fee to park the car there, if we arrive early/leave later than the permitted time (07:00 - 19:00) we enter our reg in the parking machine, pay the few pounds in coins and leave.
its not clear on the PCN's as to the detail of the contravention - EG overstay, not actually having a valid permit etc.
what would the next course of action be here? request further info on the actual contravention?
thank you

Yes, if you have a letter from CST Law about it now, then ask your questions now.
If you haven't blabbed about who was driving then keep it that way, given than APCOA don't seem to have heard of the POFA 2012 and (like lots of PPCs) have never bothered to use it and can only hold a known driver liable in law.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
