Quick update (or not):If you're a keen follower of this drama, you may remember that in a previous episode a complaint was made to the SRA and they promised to let us know how they were getting on in early August.Well, now it IS early August, and I've had an e-mail from the nice people at SRA. The good news is that the case is still being progressed; the bad news is that they've asked me - and presumably other complainants - NOT to share any further information publicly.3

Could it be that they want to keep complaints about solicitors hidden from the wider world?1 -
Personally, I would disregard that request. IMO the matter of dodgy law firms is of considerable public interest. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.1

I will post this on my own thread as well, but thought it might be of more general interest.
I sent a Without Prejudice offer to Parking Ticketing Ltd, who are the named claimant on the court claim I have received. They have responded same day and said they cannot correspond with me, and that I should reply to the company who are "sending the letters". I presume they mean CST Law.
Surely this is rubbish? If they are the claimant then they are the only party to whom I allegedly owe money and so they are the only party who can agree a settlement?
Any thoughts/advice?0 -
the bad news is that they've asked me - and presumably other complainants - NOT to share any further information publicly.Perhaps you should write and ask them, in the interests of trust and transparency between you and them, could they kindly explain why that should be the case.Nice and polite. The response might be interesting. 😊Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

What are the SRA trying to hide ???
Do ask them why "NOT to share any further information publicly." it is a public issue with CST ..... Bet the SRA wom't reply putting them firmly in the same category as CST1 -
