SSDD23 said:Sorry I've not been checking in, our landlady is trying to sell which means we have viewings throughout the week at the moment so we are quite on top of keeping things clean and tidy. Fingers crossed we get an "investor" landlord rather than someone wanting to live in the house as we love it here, but not pinning everything on that as it is highly unlikely, methinks.SSDD23 you have every right to stay there, and you can be 'helpful' towards viewing when you want, ie Saturday between 2 and 6 or what ever suits. Get over to the housing board on here if the LL issue S21 (I think.) They cannot force you out, of course they could offer you ££ to go.Glazers have done their stuffPainted the filled areas twice, I think it looks ok.Dinner doneBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Go Pigpen!
SSDD23 my friend has just been through this when her landlord decided to sell, very stressful, hope it work out OK.
So, as part of my new plan to actively do something about things that are stressing me rather than just sitting in a corner trembling ... I have had an hour long chat with my line manager on the phone, which was really helpful. My assistant is not coping well with everything and I am worried about her but I have now got some ideas about how I can help her (and me) to be happier and a bit more productive.
Site meeting 8am then some other work errands, back home to take in Asda order, wipe the shopping and put it away, make veg curry and clean the kitchen. Bit more work, another Zoom meeting, then DH came home and I tidied the kitchen again. 20 minutes gentle yoga done, trying to stay off social media. DH has a form to fill in for work, have a feeling he is going to want me to help him with it now - he can forget it, I am soon off to bed!

One load through DW.
One load washing done and hung out so it promptly rained. Still out there (the washing and the rain).
Finished hoeing and weeding ex-broad bean bed and started putting in rather leggy broccoli plants. Advertised some on local FB as I have millions........intended to put them on the drive for people this afternoon but the monsoon arrived.
Finally went to the tip and got in after only half an hour of queuing. Felt mean watching Mr N unloading everything, but the rules said only one person per car. Was about to flout this, having seen one car with 3 people milling around and another with 2, but 3 attendants then decided to have coffee break right behind our car so I stayed put.
Collected new Hoover and electric toothbrush from Curry$, which is handily opposite a C0sta machine.........
Continued with bedroom declutter.
Did small bit of online course.
Rang my brother as it is his birthday.
Did a Zumba class from Amazoo Prime - never thought of looking for fitness classes on there! It was quite a good one and there are 8 in the series. TBH I'm a bit alarmed at the prospect of going back to the gym; I almost enjoy the running now, and if this Zumba seems good, that and the cycling would be enough........except how much of it will I keep up in the winter months? In fact the whole prospect of real life again doesn't fill me with much enthusiasm.
Mr N put in the gateposts we picked up yesterday and has attached the right-hand side of new front fence.
Watered greenhouse and tied in anything needing it.
A while ago, unusually for me, I passed comment on one of the 'you might be interested' ads on FB; it was about gf products. Out of the blue, someone I don't know has emailed me to say that she knows a source of the gf flour I use, which I haven't been able to buy since March. We had quite an exchange of messages, really kind of her to let me know. The web site in question say the flour is out of stock, but the friendly lady said there was some as she had phoned the supplier. So I have sent an email to the supplier; would be great if she had some and her price is way lower than Amazoo.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7 -
I have knitted the armholes bit so just need to sew it up and sew on the collar and buttons. DS's GF has moved in here as her gran has had to move into theirs. I'm cooking for 3 - what's 1 more. She will be going into work, though.
Not done much else as a work task came up. But I have put the bulb in the oven and cleaned the lamp cover. DW and WM primed.

Morning everyone, our tenancy is actually at the end of the 12 months in about two weeks and they had been sending gas and electric people round to do inspections so we had an inkling that she may want to sell, we are just moving onto a rolling contract from the end of the month but the good news is that as we will have a few months from the a buyer making an offer to everything being finished, we should have plenty of time to find somewhere
but thank you for the advice!
Hopefully we'll find somewhere nicer without some cracks in the walls, stinky plumbing under the sink and even floors9 -
