Iona, my OH mentions those strips yesterday, I think it is the way to go for the lighter pictures, but 2 of my favs are very heavy so maybe we will drill for two of themFayolle, wall paper holding on plaster, sounds just like this house when I walked in at the start of June, as it was only a little bit, the decorator used something to fill the area, I know it was white and not plaster. It is tipping it down here, the cat has vomited on my new carpet (yuk), today is top coating the area the sparky removed conduit from.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

WAC member at 4.00, but I managed to get back to sleep until 6.00, though I woke up in the middle of a dream about having hornets in the loft as well as water running down the walls! Fortunately I don't think either of those horrors is true
Today's list:
- write to all the Toddler Group helpers to say that we're not re-opening ...
- ... and then, once I've heard back from the helpers, write to all the Toddler Group families
- send birthday greetings to a friend
- cancel my exercise class: I have been paying for access to online videos led by our regular instructor, but I can't do them because every move jars my shoulder - it's a shame, but one less thing to agonise over
- send some information to a local group about getting charitable status
- pick the last of the blackcurrants
- watch a live broadcast at 11.00
- remind DH that he has an appointment at the surgery
- bake some Twinks, also a German gooseberry cake for DS1 and blackcurrant cake for us
- FUPA the washing that is currently on the airers
- get ready to help DS1
- take Rosie for her walk and to meet up with her new friends - two spaniel puppies aged 13 and 14 weeks, and a golden lab and a beagle each aged 12 weeks
- phone a friend this evening

Morning all. I’m not up to date with the thread, sorry.
Im about to do a HHC or several. Anyone fancy joining me?7 -
Good morning
I have been up for a while. The mouse man is due this morning, sometime before 1pm. I have spoken to both neighbours (I am mid-terrace) and neither have seen any signs of mice. To be fair, we haven't seen any 'signs' either - just the mouse!
Bank accounts and emails have been checked. I have dealt with the council email. I was asked to confirm if I have done a written COVID specific risk assessment. The answer was 'no'. I have risk assessed, but I am struggling with a formal written RA. I must do the SEND report today.....my next job I think.
Kitchen has been swept. I need to put on a towel wash. Flying may be minimal today, although I do want to clear the hotspot that seems to be permanently next to me!
Iona that is a shame about the toddler group. They are my lifeline when I am working at full capacity! This can be a lonely job when you have to stay at home and only have toddlers for conversationI am hoping that ours will open eventually, but it is such a hard one as they are not places where social distancing is easy (or even possible!), not to mention dribble, snot, coughing, etc.
It is a shame I'm not nearer - not that I need more toys!! I just can't resist them
Have a good day everyone.8 -
Morning all, I seem to have lost my motivation and GUAG, has anyone seen it. Everything is an effort today but I am trying just doing a few minutes here and there in the hope that it will all come together soon as the place isn't too untidy but just nowhere is tidy. And it needs a dust and hoover.
Bits and bobs so far:
Bed made, clothes picked up
WM on
DW reloaded
3 kitchen surfaces cleared, one to go
Kitchen table cleared (surfaces and table then need a good wipe down and it will be fine)
Dining room sorted
Desk sorted
Also need to phone opticians to see if my new glasses have arrived.
Going to get a glass of water and have 15 minutes on the internet.

Morning all,
I have lit the woodburner 😱😱 it's July! The laundry is drying in front of it. The house is pretty tidy, the floors will be mopped before I go to bed tonight and DS is at school. Hope you're all well friends, sorry I haven't really kept up this week, budgeting and making our food stocks stretch has been my priority x8 -

Glasses chased up, appointment to get them later on this afternoon
Curtains shut on one side of the house to keep it cool, very high temperatures forecast this afternoon.
Last kitchen surface sorted and all wiped down
