YL, what about yoga or meditation? I was doing daily Yoga with Adriene (free videos on YouTube, monthly calendar on her website) but lockdown happened and routine went out the window. Trying to get back into it now.
Put washed bedding on the line but it looks like its going to rain soon, no breeze either so I don't think its dried. Going to declutter the house as its bin day Friday and I want the mess gone!!!

Piggers, I hope you feel better soon! 😔
I've done very little flying wise but today I reorganised, cleaned and did an inventory of my food cupboards which I've put off since March so pretty pleased with myself! 🙌
I'm planning on getting the wm going in a minute, I've cooked dinner and if I have the energy I'm going to hoover and steam the kitchen floor 😉10 -
I have had a busy day flying - it had to happen one day! 😂
The cushion covers are now dry and back on the cushions, the bay windows have been cleaned (5 windows), windowsills cleaned & dead flies removed. All furniture (2 sofas & an armchair) have all been moved and the floor underneath cleaned, plus the walls & skirting, the area that houses the shoes & bags has been cleaned. I waited until DH got home so he could help me with the sofas.
The mouse put in an appearance just before we did the sofas! Someone is coming between 8am & 1pm tomorrow. Not soon enough!!
I am now shattered! I still need to deal with the email from the council, and have a webinar at 8-9pm.
Pigpen I hope you feel better soon

Thanks for the suggestions, online jigsaws sounds great Narco I like that idea. nmm I love yoga and I am a fan of Adriene, but the only place that I really have room to do yoga is in the living room and I hate doing it while DH is trying to watch telly, so I dont do it as often as I would like. Maybe I should try and do it earlier in the day though. Going to research those podcasts too.
Felt rubbish today, started with a bit of a headache then stirred myself up into a really state thinking I was getting a migraine again. Made myself lie down for half an hour which helped but still feel a bit bleugh. Lots of paid stuff done, mince hotpot made for tea, no other flying done really. Going to try and chill out now and cut the screen time in the hope I sleep better and wake up feeling better than I did today.10 -
Get well soon piggers
tomorrow will be master bedroom. I am NOT even going to try sorting the list out while on my ipad
today I have not followed list but have done WM x1 TD x 1 (towels) and DW x1. Been shopping...with a list. Wanted mince for Bolognese. When I got there 5% fat mince was on offer so bought 2 @& froze 1. Need to move stuff out to shed freezer tomorrow.
Also ironing up to date, WM and DW primed, all rubbish binned and bin put out...nice and early for a change.
oh and I have been sent my certificate for my online course....we were asked to find some CPD while off and I did coding through Futurelearn which I think has been mentioned. I can continue,p, got the cert as have completed 90%.

Late night check in!
Fayolle, I hope your DD's horse piddle appointment had a positive outcome xx
GWS Pigpen xx
Kazw, have you thought of using those removable picture hanging strips that they keep advertising on the telly? - no drilling involved. Regarding kitchen lights: I wouldn't be without my lights under the wall cupboards (I have individual recessed lights rather than strip lights) which direct light straight down onto the work surface - you can then use any normal ceiling light fitting. Fluorescent tubes give me migraines because of the flickering.
I worked in the garden for a couple of hours this morning and planted out my long-suffering seedlings. I also chopped down a few more overhanging branches and managed to get them into the green bin before it was emptied, and I moved a peony and some other bits to space out a clump of plants which were very small when I put them in 9 years ago but have grown rather a lot since! The rain started as I came in and has continued all day, so everything is well watered. I have also done WMx3 - half-dried in the TD and now hanging on the airers - and embroidered a D or K on the new almost identical undersheets to indicate their size.
This afternoon I had a good phone conversation with my boss and we have agreed that the Toddler Group will not re-open for the foreseeable future – and since I shall retire (for the second time!) in only 3 years' time, I very much doubt that I shall be the one to resurrect it. I am going to propose that we sell off / give away all our toys and equipment (most were secondhand donations or charity shop purchases), and I shall empty my landing cupboard of all the bits that I have been saving for toddler crafts. I'd rather not send it to landfill, so I must find out whether any of the local nurseries can accept it, or offer it on Freecycle.Tomorrow DS1 is coming to put the bathroom back together
But for now, bed calls. See you tomorrow xx

Get well soon Pigpen
Started the morning with a run, luckily missed the rain. Tried the lovely wood I'd discovered yesterday but hard work as overnight rain meant the footpaths through wheatfields had the sort of mud which builds up on your trainers making feet heavy - I had to keep flicking it off. That and a couple of 'inclines' made it rather disappointing when I checked my tracker and found it was only 6.5km; I was sure I had set myself a new distance record but sadly not. A nice route though.
Ordered new Hoover (I can actually say that, as it is one!) to replace our defunct one, also a new electric toothbrush - both to be collected tomorrow.
Did a load more weeding in between showers.
Went to collect wood for new gate posts; old ones rotting.
Did a load of washing up and made a quiche (not sure why they are in the same sentence - both in the kitchen??).
Sorted out more dressing table gubbins. Making progress.
Transferred some money to my brother for his birthday/wife's birthday/their wedding anniversary. Had planned to get them a Youth Hostel voucher as they like staying in them, but can't be currently bought on line. Money is more boring but at least they can use it for meals out as well as accommodation.
Checked bank accounts.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Morning all. Up early for the paid stuff.
Between shifts yesterday I got rid of cobwebs and cleaned skirting boards and window sills. Must try harder today.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.6 -
Morning all,GWS wishes to you, piggers.
Thank you, Ionafan x. More regular appointments, plus some long term medication for her. Not sure how she will deal with this latest development yet.I have a 8.30 meeting at work this morning, and really need to be on the ball for it (so often lately, I am not, what with brain fog taking over). So to wake myself up, I have stripped the bed, started the wm and remade the bed. DH is already on a work call (and DD obviously still in bed. I truly think she is nocturnal), so I am creeping around a bit. Main flying, such as it ever is, will have to wait until I get back this afternoon. I have some medical type phone calls to make this afternoon, so will need to gear myself up for those.I keep looking at the house with someone else’s eyes, iyswim. It is truly a dump, apart from the rooms where we have completely ripped them about and started again. I would love to strip wall paper and redecorate, but the previous owners put the wallpaper up to hold the plaster on, so it is paper off...plaster off...unhappy DH...plasterer needed... I think I need an afternoon of flingage to make me feel better!
Have a lovely day all x10
