Hi all
A good day, work went well, I have hoovered, dusted and mopped, made chicken pie for tea, done my exercise class. Now need to do my food shopping order.
Washed the single mattress topper I bought DS for uni, I was a bit nervous about putting it in the machine as its quite thick but its come up lovely, I dont need it so will see if I can sell it.
Ionafan I have got dwarf sunflowers and zinnias in my garden too, never done this combination before so hope it works, I love zinnias.

Good evening!
You have all been so busy!
I started the day with a run!! I managed to do 5K (even though I did walk some of it) so posted my time on the notparkrun - my slowest ever time!! Plenty of room for improvement (a Pollyanna moment there)
3 loads of washing done, 1 is still on the line. Food shop done, but not much else - except finishing a jigsaw!!
I am just watching Corrie (playing spot the post-lockdown scenes!) and then I will get the washing in and water the garden. And then I will write out 'I must try harder to fly & follow at least some of a list!'I think an early night would be a start.

After using the last ounce of my energy in the garden, I didn't achieve a great deal this afternoon, apart from half a Hero Dr Teddy's sleeve, but this evening I have sorted the problem with connecting the hose to the garden tap and watered the desperately dry beds so that I can plant out the plugs tomorrow. However, my left ankle is clearly more attractive than my right to something that has viciously bitten it. i am now smothered in calamine lotion - and it's still itching like crazy9

Thank you for the lists, Valli and Natty, this week and last. I would like to say that I am late in because I have been cracking in with the list, but not the case. Flying today has been the bare minimum, and HHI this evening. And now I am catching up with Gardeners’ World. Tomorrow is a non work day, so flying is on the list.
Belated bonne anniversaire, Mademoiselle.Round, I have been trying to stop screen time by 9pm. As you can see, I’m not always very successful, but I think you are right - I have been getting lax, and maybe that isn’t helping me get out of the WAC. Must try harder.(Hugs) to Iona, and anyone else who would like one.9 -

I couldn't face a run 1st thing today, but did one at 5pm longer than i expected.
Had a big vacuuming session yesterday so felt a bit ahead today, just as well as i didn't feel lively this morning.
Sorted out boxes of jewellery and hair scrunchies etc, was ruthless in decluttering so ended up with far fewer receptacles and they are now tidily out of sight in the new bedroom unit rather than piled on the dressing table ready to be knocked over.
New power lead thing was delivered about 10pm last night, so this morning i was able to sort that out in the study - it's smaller than the previous one which is neater, although it holds the same number of plugs.
Finalised Mr T order for tomorrow.
Watered greenhouse.
Filled bird feeders.
Had a long phone chat with my brother.
Mr N put the DW on early when he made tea, and had unloaded and put everything away by the time I'd finished breakfast.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
I have also cleaned bathroom. Been to beeandemm for bits including mini milk sachets. Mugs, spoons and coffee are ready, teasmade topped up.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning all. No real plans for today except grass cutting this morning as rain is forecast for the afternoon.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.9 -
Morning xx
Fayolle - I'm in the 'must try harder' corner with you. Last night I 'just' had a quick look at my phone last thing before going to bed - awake at 3.30 am and awake for the day just after 5 this morning. Coincidence? We'll see. No more 'justs'!!!
Sweetie looped the loop round his perch - he has more energy than me this morning
I'm washed, dressed, have packed my lunch, breakfasted and first (and only brew on a work day) has been slurped. I've made my bed and I will feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off for the paid stuff. I'll post J's birthday card on my way past the post box this morning, and pay the rent on my way home tonight.
I wonder how work will be this week. The 'new model of working' began yesterday - not sure how that will affect Admin. Suck it and see I suppose.
Have a good day. Take care. Stay safe.
