Morning all.
Sorry I missed your birthday GI - I'm glad you had a lovely day with some great presents and nice food, and hope you have a good year ahead.
GWS pigpen xx
Thanks for the hug, asb. Much appreciated, as I've been stressed out all weekend by DH's attitudes to social distancing.
Thank you for the heads-up on the theatre websites, Narc0. On Saturday night DH discovered how to get the internet on the TV and I subscribed to The Shows Must Go On, but I still couldn't persuade the full Michael Flatley show to play - just the trailer. However, we watched some Cats excerpts which were so much better on the big screen. I find it frustrating that it takes so long to "type" in the URL via the doofer, and I have a tendency to press the Exit button instead of the right arrow and frequently have to start all over again, but we will persevere.
Yesterday I finally managed to plant out some of the sunflowers and zinnias that I had grown from seed, which first involved weeding most of the border down the long drive, alongside the neighbour's house (I deliberately left the bottom quarter unweeded, as we can't see that from our house, and she had said that she would keep it tidy), and I was pleased to see that some of the old seeds that I threw out there a few weeks ago are coming up. Today I want to plant out the rest of the plug plants in our garden, before they get totally pot bound, which means I have to weed the back borders, which means I have to mow the lawn first.
The kitchen has been S&S'd and the LR and BRs tidied, also emails written and phonecalls made. DH is about to go to the surgery, so I must get dressed and start gardening!!!
(((Hugs))) spoons and sticks all round, as needed xx

Afternoon, I am in this week. Thank you for lists this week and last. Skint pit is back to being a pit after several days of being off piste.
Occupying Insomnia Central until 5am with a froggy plague email the likes of which only Moses and the Israelites of the Exodus have seen...... Then joining the WAC at 7 am means I am not really with it.
I will have a power nap and then jump in and join you all xxxThe cold never bothered me anyway10 -
ebeast parcel ready to post.
just setting up for Pixies viledin lesson at half past... can't log in until 25 past though.
OH has litter trays to de-poop and a DW to load.
I am going to feed the girls and sort the bed room a little.. I have little christmas and birthday presents stashed in every drawer in the room I am sure! I emptied my knicker drawer of presents last week now it has 3 more in there!
I need to buy 2 more tiny gifts for OH's birthday on Sunday.. I got him a cat tree (massively reduced!) and a bottle of smell.. also massively reduced.. 2/3rds off! got to love a bargain! So some jelly babies and a book (for the girls) will do ... they have the first 2 in a series he is reading to them so it makes sense to be one book ahead! should be less than £5 for both.
My aim this week is a tidy bedroom, a tidy kitchen and making a start on sorting the 2 boxes of stuff which got dumped in the girls room when I started decorating the landing.
My ailments are almost all drugged into submission, which means I am a bit stupid and my nose is stuffy but I am managing to function at a very slow pace.

Hello, I'm in this week.
Had a great weekend with both my DDs and their friends, it was my birthday so we enjoyed a BBQ and I was thoroughly spoilt.
I've been and taught my last lesson until September, just need to go and do a few hours of admin on Wednesday then I have 10 days away in the other house (by the sea) starting at the weekend.
Other than work today:
Bed made, clothes picked up
Lunch eaten
Admin tackled, desk is tidy and clean, bill found and paid, filing sorted but not done yet. Request to cash in childrens bonds done.
Blood test booked
Banking and savings checked and updated.
Now need to book to pick up cat food and go to PO9 -
I've been very busy here. The following has been done - two dog walks, dogs have been to groomer, picked up a parcel, dailies, dusted dusty bits in living room and bedroom, changed bedding, third lot of washing about to go in machine, hoovered and swept through, made bread, cleaned two cutlery drawers.Spend less now, work less later.10

Been to the PO to send off cheques, requests for money etc.
Been to vet to pick up cat food
Sorted dinner
Feeling so much better that the desk is tidied and cleaned and that the admin is a bit more under control, all outstanding bills paid. At least I have all the bits of paper in the right place.
Enjoying a cuppa then need to do some research on repointing my walls!
Anyone got any advice/experience repointing old brickwork?

Kitchen cleaned including bonus of one of the veg boxes from the bottom of the fridge and cutlery drawer emptied and washed out. Tray is removable which means it can go in the sink. Floor just drying now. Used traditional mop again because it's breezy and I have the time.
Seesaw logged into and posted work commented on - so it's virtually 5pm. I think I will leave it now - any work posted later will be marked tomorrow.
Weather massively improved so washing got pegged out.
Might get ahead of myself as I have a bucket of hot water and do the bathroom.
I have reverted to using cutlery basket from old DW as some of the slots are bigger - my potato peeler doesn't fit in the new one. I also saved the baskets from the old DW. I'm considering offering them on ebay because I have seen what they go for.
