3 loads of washing done, kitchen and utility room hoovered and steamed - I've been so busy with paid stuff this week I've done very little flying 🙈 can't stand it anymore, feeling very unsettled so will do the rest of the house shortly - paid stuff can wait until tomorrow!6

Downstairs tidied, vacuumed and mopped.
Bags packed to go away for 10 days, off to other house by the sea and meeting up with friends from UK who arrive tomorrow morning! (And they've got tea bags for us, hooray!!)
Minimal flying for me next week as other house is small, modern, quite minimalist and has no nick nacks etc. Also forecast is good so will be eating outside, salad and bbq every evening and help yourself to left overs and cheese at lunch time. That's my meal plan for the week.
I have my bikini, book and sun hat!

Good afternoon
1st alarm this morning was turned off, and I got up just before the 2nd alarm at 7am. I was in the bathroom when my watch reminded me that I had the little girl that I am helping out with arriving in 10 minutes!! 😱 I had forgotten!! Cue rushing around to get washed/dressed. The mum messaged me at 7:30 (15 minutes late) that she wasn't coming! 🤦♀️ I took the dog out, had breakfast & did the Friday money juggle before work at 9.
I have not been feeling it today. I have no patience and no energy.
The WI meeting went well last night. I was quite pleased with my allotment grown veggie still life! I will try and post a picture.....
45 minutes to go until the weekend. I can do this (I am currently picking up peas as they hit the floor underneath the 2 Yr old!)8 -
Not quite finished - a bit more shading needed on the garlic!10 -
Oh I'm green now. I can't draw very well. Fortunately I can draw well enough to impress 5/6 year olds...that's so clever GI.
Was just remaking my bed when DS informed me it was raining - we both ran out to get the washing in. It's stopped now. I've done DS's bed and cleaned in there. I'm cunningly removing unused-for-a-while toiletries. So far nothing's been missed.
Mum's been with a cabbage from the allotment - it's massive. Hoping it hasn't brought any visitors with it. Had an earwig in my fridge this week, which I presume hitched a ride on my lettuce. I really hate them. No issues with anything else at all but earwigs freak me out. Although the massive rainforest millipede I held once was a bit scary. And I once had a huge stick insect crawl up me onto my face at a butterfly place and a woman was horrified. Little did she know I used to keep them as pets!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Oh you see why can I not draw/knit/crochet/sew like you lot? I am truly hopeless at anything crafty.
A very bitty sort of day, online exercise class, some paid stuff, a socially distanced visit to Mum in Law, a trip to hairdressers (which I was anxious about but fine in the end), more paid stuff, some laundry done. Not a bad day at all, but glad its weekend.
Narco I have cancelled my gym membership and wont be going back anytime soon. In some ways I miss it, but I am really enjoying the online exercise programme I am doing. Maybe when I am back in the office it will be harder to keep it going. I am thinking about getting a pass for our local Forestry Commission site. There are running and walking and trails and it feels quite safe if I wanted to go there on my own, think it might be expensive though.
