Ahhhh congratulations!!!! That was quick! We haven’t heard anything from today’s valuation yet 😭 I know the MB said Friday but really hoping to hear something tomorrow.

Full valuation, all the underwriting was done, so that's why I'm thinking the turn around was so quick.
Hope I can complete ASAP

Congratulations again, I’m sure mines going to be a full valuation as it’s booked in for next Thursday, if it was a desktop then I’m sure it would of been done by now

We had to pull out of our last house after the valuation and full offer was received 2 weeks ago. Found a new house last week for 25k more, offer accepted had our new mortgage interview booked in for today, santander phoned to say they had a cancellation so had it on Tuesday. All approved subject to valuation the following day. Our new valuation is booked in for Wednesday next week.


I have to say I've been very impressed with how quickly santander has moved our application forward. We are first time buyers borrowing at 89% ltv. The application for the first property went from DIP to valuation and full offer in under 3 weeks,  the 2nd application has taken 2 days so far. 

We went through Santander directly on the advice of a broker.

Hi, due to have the valuation take place today on a new build. Sales advisor has emailed to say no-one has turned up? Anyone had this issue before, mortgage offer has been accepted subject to the valuation but now I don't know what's happening.

Thanks. We're a little worried because we had to pay 7.5k over the asking price as there was a little bidding war for the property but hopefully the valuation is OK.

I was worried about our valuation, private purchase and we paid £15k higher than the listing price, also due to a bidding war. Our valuation came back today as satisfactory 😊 I’ve never been so relieved as we were really worried about it.
