Hi I've been reading this thread for some time now and have found it really helpful!

    Here's our progress so far.

I must add our MB asked us for the following before applying, latest payslips, proof of address and ID and information on whether covid has affected our ability to work.

Both me and my partner are essential workers and both been working throughout.

    15th April - DIP
15th April- Application recieved (also received a text)
    15th April- Valuation instructed
15th april- questions of employment due to Covid/ proof of ID and address requested
16th April- all requested items accepted
    19th April- Passed to Underwriters
21st April- underwriters decision- agreed subject to valuation
22nd April- Passed to Mortgage Centre
    6th May - survey booked(valuation)
Does anyone know how long it takes for an official offer after the valuation??
    Hopefully everything goes smoothly!

I’m not to sure what passed to mortgage centre means.. as we didn’t get that on our timeline but we had our property valued on a Friday and received the offer on the Sunday. They did visit the property.

Hope you receive your offer soon! Fingers crossed

Have any of you received any offers today?
    fingers crossed for you all!

I’m just waiting for my offer to arrive in the post and to the solicitors so that we can start the searches  :)

The underwriter came back on ours saying that they would only offer a lower amount. We then had to agree this was ok to go ahead with our MB and it went back in the queue for the formal offer to be made. Took about 3 days.
Hi, thanks, that seems pretty straight forward then.

I've just received an email today stating: Unfortunately it's taking a bit longer than expected to review your application. We'll be in touch in the next 3 working days with an update.
Has anyone else received this who is still waiting?

It's been with underwriters since Thursday afternoon now and the desktop valuation was completed last Wednesday too, so I'm hoping this is just because they are behind on sla and not because of any issues with our income.

Buying a house going through probate too. Keep being told it should be sorted soon. But I have been hearing that for a while!
