Buying a house going through probate too. Keep being told it should be sorted soon. But I have been hearing that for a while!Cookie211 said:I think they are behind as they still in April, my valuation isn’t booked in till a week tomorrow, my solicitor is on holiday till next week and the house we buying is going through probate 🤯🤯🤯 anyone know much about probate? apparently it’s not over complicated and a sole beneficiary.... someone help lol1 -
Do u know if it’s a complicated will, also did they go through solicitors for probate to be granted, sorry for all the questions, I have been trying to read up on probate but everyone says different, the EA thinks it will be 8/12 weeks as he have seen the will and had confirmation off the solicitors the vendor is using for probate, just worried something will go wrong as everything have gone wrong for us so far trying to get a mortgage lol 🤯🤯🤯Orchid12 said:

Hi everyone ! Been lurking for a while , we submitted application through a broker about 3 weeks ago now (he insisted on doing it early to secure The rate 🤷🏽♀️) and then we submitted my April payslip last Monday , supporting letters to confirm my salary on Thursday and hoping to hear back by the end of this week. Keeping everything crossed, and hoping our (private) buyer hurries up too!! Congrats to everyone who has received offer / valuations today xx

Yes and they’re all back. Also had a survey done. I think we are pretty much ready apart from a few questions. But our buyers are not as far along as us, so have some delay there too. Are you planning to go ahead with searches right away?Cookie211 said:
