I don’t understand this either, I think if u subimitted something on 1st April it takes 2 days for them to look at it but it’s been a bank holiday so god knows 🤷‍♀️

When I spoke to santander yesterday documents get submitted to an admin team who approve them, then they get passed back to the underwriting team. Both the admin and underwriting team were dealing with paperwork submitted to them on Thursday 1st April.

Hopefully the 2 working day timescale is covering the bank holiday applications and then back to normal tomorrow!

I’m guessing I’ll have some news today then. My document was submitted on the evening of the 2nd 😀

Fingers crossed,we have had the estate agent on the phone again this morning,the vendor wants an update 😩 they rang my mb yesterday aswell just hope he won’t pull out as he’s getting fed up with us 🤯

We submitted our statement on the 1st also then been in underwriting queue from the 2nd.hopefully you're at the same stage then and we both get answers today that we want.
