Brilliant then, fingers crossed. My partner on furlough so underwriters came back with queries about that and when he could be returning but that was all this time. Just hoping that's us nearly done with all the questions as it's been back and forward

Seems like your broker has got your back with the estate agents. I thought we would have a similar timeline being fairly straightforward cases.

They are working today anyway which is good news. So frustrating why they don't ask for everything at once instead of all this back and forward

I’ve been informed by my MA that since mine is a high value mortgage, there are two underwriters working on the case. A senior and a lower level in his words. They work at different time scales I suppose. The good news is that foreign income is considered as long as it is declared on self assessment in the UK. Self employed mortgages are a bit difficult and my case is a bit complex due to shared assets with my ex wife and loads of assets overseas as well. I think these last 4 weeks have taught me a lot although this isn’t my first mortgage. Wish everyone good luck with their applications. There is hope for hearing from the lenders today as they are indeed working.

My last request has been accepted. Underwriting queue for me now I wonder what they'll come back with next...
