Congratulations @ka86ftb! I noticed the other day that you said pipeline applications for Santander had not moved from the 10th December. What does that actually mean? The website is now saying that pipeline applications are 3rd December.I’m finding the wait very stressful as we really need to get things moving as baby is due at the end of Feb! I’m worried we won’t even get sorted before the end of March after reading all these comments on here!0

Hi all. Very useful thread here excellent info. I'd like to thank you all for posting about your mortgage journeys with Santander ( even the infuriatingly short ones 😂).
I'm in the process of gathering up all of the info I require in order to submit a comprehensive application that will inundate the underwriters with so much data that I won't hear a peep until the application is approved.
My mortgage broker has given me a decent list but I've already added to it by reading the posts in this thread. Some examples:
-Proof of deposit-Proof of accumulation of deposit (will six months suffice or do I have to pull together my last 10 years of saving history?)
-P60 - where does one get this? HMRC? Or previous employer-Letter from employer confirming that I haven't been impacted by covidAny others worth adding that you wish you included first time?
Me - Employed 7months, 40% tax payer
Deposit - 75% ltv (1.89%rate)
House type - new build 200-250k
2nd home (if I fail to sell and port my 1st home)0 -
Finally after waiting since October, my mortgage broker call me and my application has been signed off by the underwriters this afternoon. Dose anyone happen to know how long the offer will take to get raised? Many thanks1

them with too much from the start and to just start with bank statements and payslips. It appears everyone Is asked for different things depending on personal circumstances. We have had a mortgage offer today, but have been offered £11k less than needed unfortunately. However, some of the things you have listed we haven’t been asked for, such as deposit info. We’ve been asked for credit card statements proving zero balances etc. Perhaps best to wait and see what they want? Someone else may disagree though. Good luck1 -

Pipeline applications means those wich are passed back into the underwriting queue after they ask for more info.... 3rd december is referring to the initial assessment. So for those who made their application on 3rd december means they are being looked at now. Hope this makes sense0 -
