Santander mortgage timeline

Santander accepted our appeal they want our last year filed with company house, that’s being done now. But also gone with a new broker and had our dip with Halifax today. We are clutching at straws but want to give it one more shot!

That’s amazing news...so you should get an offer with santander???

Not as standard no. They reserve the right to request them at any stage though, we had to give our MB 3 months worth of them but Santander haven’t requested to see them so far. Mortgage brokers are told to only send them if requested. 

Hi Guys,
first post here, I am in the same boat as the majority of you. We had originally sent the application on 25th September. Joint application, employed and self-employed, they have come back and asked various questions on 25th November, all sent back on 26th November. They came back and asked for my brother’s (SE) 3 months Bank statements and exact date when he was registered as self-employed. We have now sent all statements and date of self employed registration. No doubt will be put back of queue again! I am getting very worried that we may not get the mortgage at all. 85% LTV, and house valuation not yet instructed. 

Any advice from anybody would be much appreciated! Thank You - Lorence

We finally got contact today. Our UW Date was the 9th but MB got in touch whilst it was still on the 5th and asked for 3 months of husbands statements and an explanation as to why his earnings dipped in 18/19 (due to a family death so he was home and sorting that out).
hopefully we’ll hear something next week. 

@85c, let’s hopefully get this all wrapped up quickly 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Have you had a timescale from Santander? We had ours accepted last Wednesday but told we are in re-assessment queue
