Does anyone know if the valuation is instructed before or after underwriting?

Sorry I remember your wife is a hair dresser, our appeals must have gone in at the same time, apparently it’s 24-48 hours so we should know tomorrow but who knows. I’m not holding my breath!

Sorry I remember your wife is a hair dresser, our appeals must have gone in at the same time, apparently it’s 24-48 hours so we should know tomorrow but who knows. I’m not holding my breath! 

Yeah that's the one. We've just had to submit a few extra bits of information this evening so we might be a little behind you but we are hopeful that because they have asked for more it means they are seriously looking at it again?!? It's all just one emotional rollercoaster!

After 9 weeks, we’ve been declined, they said our ltd company hasn’t been trading long enough, it’s been trading for 2 yrs before that we were a sol trader and submitted that. MB said Santander business manager was shocked and is appealing but I have no hope. 

Whatttt!!!! This is ridiculous, surely they would have known you have been LTD for two years when you applied. Also youve grown throughout Covid so that should give them confidence. It’s craziness!!!

I’m glad they are looking at it again. I’ve got a good feeling if the business manager is behind it.  When I worked for a bank, we used to always put up business cases to the lending department and the majority of the time they were overruled. Fingers crossed.
