I'm surprised that within all the "alternatives to Symbio & co" discussions no one appears to have mentioned Outfox the Market. They appear to have a good "Which?" rating with reasonable tariffs. And feedback from anyone?

Perhaps they've improved, but the omens don't look good.  I found their predecessor company Eco7 were dire.  Same people as Foxglove and the magic dust non-storage heaters, where things will get interesting with a court case in September.

On the basis of your links I'd consider these people OFM now in preference to many of the others in our discussion if I decided that the time had come to switch.

Perhaps Symbio will make OTFM seem like saints, I'll find out in due course whether they're cheerful as well as cheap...

I was with OFTM for a couple of years and had no problems at all. Their website worked, I could submit meter readings and their DDs were pretty much on the ball. I only left them for a ~£20pa saving with GNE and that didn't work out quite as I'd hoped!
I might well go back to OFTM when my EDF "GNE" tariff expires in September.

@molerat You beat me to it !  Old prices were 12.11343p / kWh, Daily Charge 13.2825p inc VAT.
New prices are Marine v4: 17.0728p / kWh, Daily Charge 22.5918p all inc VAT.
Oh well, it was fun while it lasted, no increase for 17 months.  Now do I risk Symbio, Neo etc?
Looks like I timed the switch of my stepdaughters tariff from Aqua 1 to Ocean v2 fixed on 23 May just in time....phew.  Her unit rate has only increased from 11.95p to 12.384p and SC has increased by about 9p a day.

I did notice they'd pulled Ocean v2 the day after we switched and a couple of days later that they seem to have pulled any fixed deals but, obviously with her no longer being on Aqua, wasn't aware of that huge price increase.  Just hope Neon stay in business, especially as i'm with them as well and I really don't fancy a 3rd SOLR within 6 months...

Neon Reef have objected to my switch to PFP.... because I have £45 of "debt" , due to my fixed DD not catching up. Surely my final bill would correct this?
