I'm venturing out in the rain.
I have to later when DP gets up, always me who has to go to the tip in the rain:rolleyes:

Solway thanks, hope you enjoy the drive out, maybe Yorkshire will have better weather, doubtful however. I do the staying sober to drive the drunk people home if we go out, very rare now, used to do it a lot and didn't bother me as long as noone was sick or snored when they fell asleep.

Not done much so far, enjoying the quiet, the boys are playing nicely for a change so I've slobbed to watch Saturday Cooks.....
One day I might be more organised...........

Hubby been off Thursday and Friday, so very little flying donw, however he did help clean the living room and kitchen. And we went into town both days and I'm not even going to tell you how much we spent, lets just say, I got a new buggy for DS2 and it is not even half of what we spent, shocking. Lovely buggy though http://www.just4baby.co.uk/acatalog/XTS_All_Terrain_3_1_Joggers_.html

And it's really roomy so will do him a good couple of years as we think he will still need the buggy for when he gets tired.

Have to play catch up now, have a lot to do, house is tidyish but needs a good scrubbing.

Corn beef hash for lunch, nice and warming. oh and ofcurse :coffee:

    WELL DONE LIL_ME!!!!!!

(((HUGS))) for Solway hope you feel happier this afternoon. I should warn you though that the weather in Yorkshire is horrible, raining, cold and windy, well in South Yorkshire it is at least! We live half a mile from South Yorkshire just in Derbyshire and it's p*ssing it down there too! lol

Because of that we have not called in to see DH today :( keep your fingers crossed that it is at least dry tomorrow so we can go and take some flowers to him. We have called at the florists in the village to order an arrangement to take on Christmas day.

Hi all, and well done Lil-me!
Flying didn't happen for me this week, work got in the way. I am going to work from the Kitchen list today, hope to get that straight, and then sort DD's room tomorrow, need a skip I think! Will have some time today as DD and OH out at the moment, DS is having a nap, lovely and peaceful, although I need to use the time rather than watching my items ending on ebay. DD is out at a birthday party this afternoon too. OH out gigging tonight so will get some school work done this evening in front of the telly, haven't looked to see what is on yet. I am going to start by half-hour challenging myself - back at 1.15ish!

    I have survived.

I so love Lidl I brought:

Ski helmet for DSs for his mountain board £6.99
Golf flowery browly for football £2.49

2 x 10 packs of pain of chocolate about £3.50
    1 savoy cabbage 63p
    Fleece for the sofa £3.99

It is only a small shop but I love the strange array of stuff I come home with.

OS cards posted and stamps for Uk ones purchased.

Having a cuppa and toasted cheese sarnie with a cox.
    OH checking out door lights
DS1 dispatched to corner shop to get BBeans he wants
    DS2 and DS3 tidying upstairs.

Time for a cuppa and to find my list.

I have snow since I last posted! Lovely big flakes but the ground is thankfully wet. Rang my Bro and he confirms rain which I don't mind driving in. Ta for the hugs AnW'smum and Dusty, quite possibly, I never think of that first!
Had a rant and a blub on the phone to my lovely Mum and she made everything alright as Mums do even when you're 42 and a half!

Vacc'd throughout, phonecall to find out what my Nectar points are worth against food shopping in Sainers (£27.50 which'll get a Christmas cake and some nice food treats), updated my finances, sorted some things to take visiting. Made some bird food mush for Mr Blackbird outside the kitchen window too.
I just need a shower and hairwash and to pack a few things. Not forgetting the presents and the cards for her family which will save a couple of stamps!

Enjoy the rest of your weekends, Catch up with you on the new thread I hope.

    Quick question ......

How much does it cost to get your kids hair cut?? My two are almost 5 (10 days to go) and 3. Each just had a trim about 1/4 inch and we were in there half hour in total including coats on/off paying etc.

£14!! Is this the going rate or am I just tightfisted??

    Drive safe solway x
