Good evening, thanks for the well dones, seems to have put me in a good mood (even if my internet did go off so have only just posted weekend list if anyone is interested) so since then I managed to clean Sonic out, clean the vivarium down, dust the curtain rail in the dining room (urgh was on step stool and seen it was nasty up there!) sorted some paperwork, filled dishwasher, washed another load, hung 2 loads around the house, put 5 loads away :o I know I shouldn't have left it piling up, put DS2s new mattress on his bed and remade that (old one in hall to go to the tip tomorrow with the recycling), made dinner and ate it, tidied some more of DS1s room, swished and swiped in the bathroom, cleaned the breakfast bar & stools, sorted recycling bags, sorted the ever growing bag collection, I think that is about all.

Now I've just noticed the kitchen is a tip so will do that next, kids watching Ghostbusters so they are quiet, ish.
One day I might be more organised...........

    Well done Lil_me:smiley:
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Lil_me - well done on your course.
Hex 2 - Which range cooker did you get and are you pleased with it? We're hoping to get one next year so any recommendations welcome.

We're going away tomorrow until Sunday so I'll catch up next week. Still not got decorations up so must do that early next week. Have a great weekend xx
    January budget
    Nothing left!
  • Well done lil_me :j :j .

Not been around here this week, but have got on with sorting out the house each day and sticking to my new rota which is a step in the right direction.
House now looks tidier and I feel better for it.

    Hope everyone is ok.

Now my challenge next week will be for keeping up with the flying and the thread.
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

  • :j It's the weekend :j And we are being directed by someone very clever, Well done lil-me

Yay!! Although i don't know why that makes me happy as it is going to be a tough one with the things that i think need doing. But, a bit less rushing round hopefully. DH just called in for half an hour between jobs he is doing, and brought fish and chips, so i have had a weekend treat, and had a bit of a rest.

anyway, got my xmas cards posted, even if we forgot to put the bin out and it is quite full already. Never mind. And i have finished marking my SAT papers :j and i managed to do report stickers for my biggest group today.

Think i may write down some of my to-do now so i can get it out of my head:
    • check through 9GH scheme
    • check through 9LI scheme
    • check through 7H scheme
    • mark y11 homework
    • mark y10 homework
    • mark y8 homework
    • do y8 report stickers
    • stick rules stickers in y10 and 11 books
    • be in for currys delivery tomorrow (10-12)
    • do a food shop
    • post back DVD rental
    • sort out a pack of nappies and spare outfit for charlie for nursery on monday
    • wash charlie light load of washing
    • wash a load of my undies/PJs
    • change our bedding
    • wash ours and charlie's bedding
    • wash a load of towels
    • wrap xmas presents - about 20 to do
    • do some ironing for the week
    • [STRIKE]check internet banking[/STRIKE]
    • hoover through downstairs
    • [STRIKE]take beef joint out to defrost[/STRIKE]
    • make roast beef dinner on saturday
    • look through lesson plans for monday
    • get DH to wipe up remaining mould in charlie's room
plus no doubt loads more to add to this as i get thinking

:rotfl: @ advert family, sounds lovely Dusty. I've just kicked mine to bed.

DS2 back in PJ pants, we had some left so didn't have to buy any, will put some on my next Boots order which I need to do soon to get Dad's present, might be expensive & bad for the enviroment but so is a new mattress all the time, 6 sets of linen washed a week including duvet etc, he had a new one on at the end of October when we moved and now it's beyond cleaning.

Michelle, I know how much those 'popping in between work' when they work silly hours can mean, pleased you got some nice time and a treat. Silly me is doing this degree to possibly go into teaching, with the thought of a workload like yours I might not bother.

My sister has just managed to annoy me, she borrowed money because she is skint then now DP has seen her out on a night out. I loaned her it because she said she needed essential stuff, things for the kids for school etc. Grrr. Will be having words when I go over next week.

Right, sorted through my who I need to buy for list, need several things, mainly online orders, some I need to take a photo for (want some mugs made with a photo of the kids in front of the tree on for some relatives) so I best redo the tree tomorrow and get them done before the dog walks past it again, I know now why I dislike decorations! Boots order I'll try and get done tonight. Need to book my Xmas food delivery some time over the weekend too.
One day I might be more organised...........
