poohbear, I've dropped you a PM about the Shopmobility

Dusty, that's pretty poo, I don't know when ours is as we haven't had a notice, they won't collect green waste here but where we used to live there wasn't any green waste collections between October and April I think it was, which is stupid as I used it for food waste aswell as garden waste and it would stink if left that long. Good news with the performance ticket :D so you should too.

Oh heck, we're now on a raffle ticket selling mission, the prizes total is now over £1000 and only sold £100 in tickets, this is what happens when prizes come last minute and you're too honest to sell them with no prizes. Planned a couple of days at different model car racing places to sell tickets.

Went into town, spent 30 minutes queuing to collected parcel we missed, next time I am asking them to redeliver it! Went to a bed shop, managed to bargain with the sales man for mattress, oh yes we deliver £15, oh yes the mattress is £40...'so that's £40 delivered then seeing as it's Christmas' he smiled and said ok :D :rotfl:DP says I am cheeky but shy girls get nothing. Found a PINK gardening set in Woolworths for DPs step Mam, £5.99 not bad, I think she will like that as she loves gardening.

DS2s 3rd load of sheets in the wash, had to use the TD today as I just can't get it all dry. Thanks for the tips on mattress protectors, I'll have a look. Going through a mattress every 4-6 weeks is bad for my pocket and the enviroment!

Right next, more laundry (the normal stuff)
One day I might be more organised...........

There's a funny smell in my bedroom that seems to be eminating from under the floor boards, we get it now and again, no-one knows what it is or where it's actually coming from, weird! so I've flung open the windows to air I'll spray some nice smelly about and see if that helps I can't bear bad smells.

This may sound silly but a friend of mine needed a couple of floorboards replacing and, like you, there was a strange smell - well it turned out that the sewage pipe had come detached and what should have been a £20 job turned into a £2,000 job because of this!

Get the smell checked out now!!

Very good advice there The Dragon, thanks for posting that. I remember a similar whiff in my parents old house was being caused by a sewage pipe which was blocked and backing up coming out of the man hole (yes man hole thing inside the house, we didn't know it was there until then as was under the flooring)

    Oh on another subject -
    Wohoooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!
    Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

I passed the first module of the course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Absolutely thrilled, seriously thought I had failed as the last assignment was due in in the middle of all the 'problems' we had. Don't need to resit or anything. I am over the moon!!!!!! Oh and DP passed his too, he got more than me but only 0.40 points more overall, so will not dwell on that  he made a big point of it. Thanks everyone for all your good wishes and support when I was stressing over it :o

Am seriously flagging now, got to take littles to hair dressers at 5.15, after last nights carry on washing and brushing their hair am tempted to get their heads shaved:eek: , no not that mean really:D . Why does windy weather makes kids hyper?? Mine have not even been out of the house yet and they are going bonkers.

YES!!!!!! It affects kids and cats in much the same way... they all run about with their tails on sideways and their ears sticking right up!!

Puss has just had his head squeezed again.. it has only needed doing once today so it is much improved on yesterday.. it doesn't stink so bad either.. I didn't want to chuck on him this time!

My nails look fantastic.. I'll do a pic in a bit.

My kitchen is destroyed and I have a million buns to bake over the weekend for the christmas fayre at school.

My backroom is a bear pit.. the front room needs vaccuuming as do the stairs.. I aren't even thinking about my room it is awful!!

However, the tombola ticket for the christmas fayre are beautifully folded!! :D
