Pleased to hear Trading Standards have confirmed he must fix it, thought that would be the case. I'd have still stamped my feet for a courtesy car like I did when our most recent car went in, went back a total of 8 times before I have said I am happy with it. Yak, what a way to put you off ever buying a Punto, give you a spangly new one as a courtesy car, it was awful! Like driving a rollerskate, didn't feel safe so uncomfortable that you're looking for the one for the other foot. Fingers crossed he has it done for you soon Kaz.

Pigpen, poor moggy :( that sounds vile, pleased I read that after my tea. Tree looks fab :D tell hubby I said he has to 'shhhhh' :D

Half way through putting a Wilkinsons order in, going by what is on it so far the delivery guy will hate me. Wonder what over 50 litres of fluids weighs :rotfl: not finished yet, going to stock up on what I can and give the total another boost.
One day I might be more organised...........

Didn't get too far today but have done my first 10 christmas cards and all the ironing is up to date.

DS3 didn't want a bath - most unusual, he said he was too hot but his temp was normal - took nearly 2 hours for him to go to sleep tonight. Not sure if he is troubled by the school play which starts tomorrow but very clingy.

Right plan to be at home most of tomorrow (so know something will happen). May try to sneek in and see dress rehersal of Show as we only have 3 tickets and DS1 and 2 want to go along with hubbie. Need to check out christmas trees at the local nursery too.

NewMrsL hope you are ok x
Pigpen hope mog is better in the morning
    All sleep tight xx

On that note as I am now cross with it I will go to bed, night night all

  • morning everyone.

Up very early this morning at 5:30 - thanks charlie. I could of done without it as we did not end up in bed till 11:30 by the time i had finished marking and hung up my washing, so i know what type of day it may end up being. I am going to have another crappy 6th form lesson too as i have had no time to plan it, but my SAT papers were finished off.

At least getting up early meant DH was in and around to put back up charlie's blackout curtain so that is done and we may trick him into sleeping longer. Fingers crossed.

Looking forward to a good catch up tonight, if only while i write a mega weekend list. May even leave it lying round so DH can see what needs doing and help out a bit.

lil-me that wilkos order. 1litre weighs 1 kg, so that postie will be cursing you.

pigpen hope that mog feels better today, and the tree looks fab. No tree can ever be overdressed.

sexymouse good luck with those tricky classes today. Hope they don't wear you out too much. I have 3 nice lessons today so will see how it is going to pan out, but lots oif work today. I won't be leaving school in my part time hours today.

anyway - best get ready, and maybe also change charlie's bed this morning.

Why does windy weather makes kids hyper?? Mine have not even been out of the house yet and they are going bonkers.

pigpen your tree is fab :T

Spent an hour yesterday tea-time on littleys room and it's nowhere near done yet, got the thick up though and she got a telling off and a warning that if it ever got in that state again I'd be binning the whole lot - wicked Mother that I am :D suppose I should finish it today but I feel really lethargic this morning. *yawn*

do dishes (can't be bothered to empty the DW)
    Strip kids beds
    remake kids beds
quick tidy in teenies room (it's not that bad)
    hoover ^^^
    finish littleys room
    hoover ^^^

    TD

There's a funny smell in my bedroom that seems to be eminating from under the floor boards, we get it now and again, no-one knows what it is or where it's actually coming from, weird! so I've flung open the windows to air I'll spray some nice smelly about and see if that helps I can't bear bad smells.

    Good morning,
Am posting very sporadically when the computer decides it will let me:mad:
    I think it is a personal vendetta:rolleyes:
I'm going to tackle my ironing mountain, if i'm not back in an hour send search and rescue! I may have been buried under an avalanche of clothes...

    Morning all

Well was up and down most of the night cos I had ear ache and DD2 decided she needed cuddles every half hour:mad: . Her final visting was at 3.45am when DH put her back to bed, but took me ages to fall back to sleep. Anyway have cancelled my driving lesson for today and ear is still hurting and am so sleep deprived I doubt I would take anything in.

So gonna write my list on here so that it is written down rather than going round in my head:-

Kids room - Beds, hoover, dust etc (dejunked last week & window cleaned), clear space for their xmas tree
Bathroom - Disinfect loo, clean floor, clean window (did rest last night)
Put BM on (found recipe for chocolate and banana cake so gonna give it a go)
Put BM on for pizza dough - make them up and put in freezer
    Ironing
Tidy lounge (5 mins job so will do first:D )
    S & S Kitchen
    Hoover through

    Jobs for weekend

Write xmas cards (do at work if quiet)
Post dora back pack thing to freecycler
Make parcel up for grandfather and post on monday with tesco returns

Thats all my head can think of for a moment, I know there is more but having a mental block. So gonna pop the kettle on and crack on.

Pipgen - That is so gross, poor "!!!!!" cat. We had a yorkshire terrier when I was younger that used to get a big spot come up on its back every 6 months or so and mum had to do the same and then bathe with salt water. Cat sounds really bad though so my need antibiotics?

Kaz - Fingers crossed car is back up and running by Monday.

Lil_me - re Wilkinsons, I know when I looked on there yesterday it said that they were having trouble with check-out due to high demand. I ordered loads of loo rolls so although the box was huge it didnt weigh too much:D .
