    that's a good thing to realise LJD1

am just sitting to eat a bowl of the soup i just made and then am going to continue the week's trend of doing none of the work (well, not much anyway!) i'm paid for and getting my house / wedding / life in order instead. dropped mum off for the train to the airport (much easier than driving there) and she left me with a list of stuff to finish! this morning we bought mum's wrap for her dress, the rest of the necklaces for the bridesmaids (i have beads to make some earrings tonight) and returned something i didn't want to debenhams :) also the nice lady in the curtain shop below my flat is shortening the 2 new pairs of trousers i bought this week (i'm hoping for free!). I'm not quite into my size 12s so bought 2 pairs 14s in sainsburys as i'm fed up of being cold!

    so this aft for me:
    wm (1) (2)
put clean bedding & clean washing away
    pack for weekend
    clean bathroom
    empty bins & recycling
pack parcels: ribbon, mum's face powder,
arrange meeting at hotel next week
email new boss re Jan hours (working part time for them in Jan)
    boogie wardrobe
phone dressmaker & change appt date
    phone dentist
    make drs appt
make nurse appt for malaria tabs
    pack boxes
    phone insurers re ruined books
    hoover through flat

pigpen - I'll show the photos to DD and let you know. (She's a gorgeous and fussy blonde by the way...)

LOL.. Mine's not fussy judging by the scrote he is hanging around with at the moment!!.. he is a really dark blonde as well.. not that he has hair very often.. it thinks about growing and I shave it off!! lol.. I've got a lovely pic of him in his school uniform as well.. ;)

Cat is still snoozing under the radiator.. he looks really fed up.. I'll have another look at his head when he next wakes up.

The tree is lit.. but I have to wait for the other 6 children and hubby to get home before we ornament it.. DD's 2 and 4 are getting a bit impatient. Hubby is just walking the 3 of them into town to put the money in bank and then copming home so he'll be about half an hour I think.

DS1 even liked his trainers - so comfy so he still has them on too! Shame his school shoes don't fit but hey if I have to get one full price pair before he returns after Christmas it won't be bad.

pigpen - DD is considering the photo...

I, on the other hand, knowing rather more about your DS1, and bearing in mind DD is not above the age of consent, will have to regretfully decline your generous offer!!!:D

Still have a report to write, DS 1 and 2 have still not cleared the top of their wardrobe so that I can remove the puzzles and games from the top of mine..., still have the meatballs to cook for dinner tonight, still have to take DD to have a skin test at the local college before she goes even blonder next Wednesday....

Has anyone got a day extension pack that I could borrow? Another four hours should do it...

On the plus side, DS2 has made chocolate caramel squares. Mmmm...

    Hi all

Littles collected from school. DD1 decided as DD2 had a new brolly she needed one too so off we trot to the shop. Had to go to somerfield first so i could get cash back (no cashpoint this side of town as halifax closed down:mad: . Picked up a nice tin of biccies so another pressie sorted:D . No replacement bulbs that fit at handymans but at £1.40 for 4 bulbs and given that I needed about 20 decided on new lights. Got coloured LED ones with multi function and pleased with them. Cheated and left the other set on too. Littles have [STRIKE]chucked[/STRIKE] placed the ornaments carefully. May have to fiddle with the tinsel later;) , will post pic though.

Right now need to rehoover the lounge and move all the boxes in there as its looks like we are moving again at the mo!

Will wrap some presents later too and now the decs are up can face writting xmas cards. Thanks by the way Aimee, mine arrived this morning:D

    hello again,
What a low day - I have managed to get very little done - just a desk tidy up and a bit of a filing session. Never mind, maybe I'll get a bit more donethis evening. Doing the last bit of our christmas shopping tomorrow thank goodness,
    have a good evening,

Evening again. Luckily it is friday tomorrow as i can then sleep. Not looking forward to the weekend too much though as DH is working, and i will have DS to watch and have a boat load of my own stuff to do when he is sleeping. DH claims he will then be less busy at work, but i am not holding my breath. It was 10 he came in last night, so i ended up cooking dinner instead of getting all my work done, and not even a phone call to say anything. I was then awake till about 11:30, and even more snoozy than usual today.

Lots to do this evening as well:
    • must plan a 6th form lesson
    • must write report stickers for at least 10 more books from the y7 class (10 done today, must do the other 10 then tomorrow)
    • mark some more questions on the SAT paper (marked 3 last night)
In my head i am wonder woman, and i would also love to do some wrapping and other stuff so it is done, but i am being reallistic. Will do my random act of kindness tomorrow i think, as there is too much to do tonight already. ;) A great reason for doing it.

Anyway, off to start the bathtime and then bedtime routine, and will hopefully have charlie in bed for 7, quick tidy up of toys and get the WM on with my dark load i have been meaning to do all week, and then start on the 'work' list.

Will try to pop in before bed time,

    Michelle, x

    Evening everyone!:hello:

Just checking in whilst I catch up with the thread. Was only meant to be booked for this morning for supply, but was called this morning and asked to do an avo at another school too, so have still not done any flying! Am also now booked tomorrow morning as well, so looks like it'll be the weekend fly again.

I'm probably teaching you to suck eggs Pigpen, so apologies if I am, but when our cat had an abscess, we cleaned it with salt water to help it to heal. You could try that if it's still infected, although don't make it too salty or it will sting.

Hugs to all who need them today. Sounds like a few of you do. Best be off to take care of OH as he has man flu, and we're off to dinner at my M&D's tonight. Hope OH doesn't do his steam train impressions tonight, as I need all of my energy to deal with the classes I have tomorrow as I had a tough time with them both last time.

    Happy flying everyone!

    sexymouse xx

PS - I'm blaming you lot for my cravings for chocolate now, and the fact that I will have to go and spend money as I have none in the house!:rotfl:
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
