No long been back from hospital, my appointment was at 9am, the waiting room was empty when I got there (HUGE SHOCK!!), but they'd lost my notes (how i don't know as my notes are huge) Had to wait an hour before they found them, luckily I as allowed to go straight in after that. Then I had to have a blood test as some of my levels were very low when I was in hospital but surgeon said it might be down to the operation, but wanted to check they had returned to normal.

Anyway on the plus side, he was pleased with my "huge" wound, that the sensations I'm getting are normal and are down to severed nerves and got to wait for them to repair themselves. He said that he didn't want to see me again unless I'm referred again by my consultant (which hopefully ill be a long time!!). Yay!! :T

Going to get the bathroom cleaned before the insulation people get here.

I'm thinking what my random act of kindness might be - will let you know later.

    Hiya
Today i'm trying to be grateful for everything in my life. I've just found out my friend's husband has finally gone into a hospice. They have two young children. I'm determined not to wallow and get depressed. I have so much to be grateful for and am very good at forgetting that. So, today i'm not doing any flying. I'm going to spend the day doing little things that mean something. I've walked the dog in the pouring rain (she wasn't too chuffed!) and just enjoyed getting wet (yes, i'm also going slightly mad). Now i'm going to visit my mum's friend who's still in a care home and i'm doing her nails for her. If lots of people could do a little random act of kindness today in celebration of my friend's life I'd really appreciate it. Hugs to all and no more stressing...it's only christmas! xx

Oh I do love a good old dose of reality.. nothing like realising how lucky we all are to make us check over our life with a fresh perspective.

Wow.. how do I manage a random act of kindness without going out??? and squeezing my cats head to make it better doesn't count!!

I may put that off for another day when I won't be in.

Dusty Kitten, sorry have only just caught up on the posts. I searched all over for a Tesco Direct code and couldnt find one in date or that worked, so had to settle for just the free delivery that they were offering at the time. Hope this helps.

Thanks the item I want is out of stock atm. If it comes back into stock I may order a sim to get free delivery if that is still working.

  • Woohoo - defragging the hard drive as I type. Managed to get everything done and as PC/Study area is OH realm cleaning it is my random act of kindness to him ;)

Also did the shopping, this week came to just over £10 with the help of www.mysupermarket.com to price compare, then I take the printable list to Lidl first to see if I can get it cheaper there. Of course I could! The rest of the day I can take easy now, get some knitting done and watch the Sopranos on the Sky + box.

Pipgen started today in my stores but in some yesterday - there is a thread on here by Quakers. Has AF arrived?

Right now I have had my lunch I will unpack my ASDA shop, hide the couple of presents I brought today. Have a cuppa and try to finish yesterdays' list

LJD hugs to you - I'm going in the loft to look out some polonecks for a friend's son to borrow as she can't find any to buy
