Morning, loads to do today, need to pack and post an oodle of stuff, DS2 still off, might sneak in a wander round the market while I am in town, must be 4 years since I last went to that market. DS2 at orthoptist at 12pm, hopefully will have some improvement in his vision.

Dining table has been dumped on again so will tackle that later along with DS1s room. DS2s is tidy, sheets were stripped at 3am as he wet the bed again so everything including the duvet is to be washed, one load in now. DS1s bed needs doing. Need to find sheets for guest bed for when mother dearest arrives on Sunday. Oh and make enough space to be able to put it out.

Anyone know where to get waterproof mattress sheets that actually work? Tried Argos ones which don't work. We have Kylies but not enough to cover the bed, he's a wriggler so moves off them. Going to have to buy DS2 a new mattress as his now stinks.

Shell I tried for ages last night, going to try again over the weekend I think, oh yes loo rolls were on there too, 12 bags of soda crystals, same in washing stuff etc etc.....when I do put this order in the delivery driver will most likely want to kill me. Going to stash it all under my bed :D I did the same last year with washing powder in September, on my last box now, did plan for it to last at least a year..

One day I might be more organised...........

Day off today but so much to do. Lovely new range oven has now been fitted :T :j but we had to take the kitchen curtains down because they hang over the hob. Off to Dunelm Mill this morning to find an alternative. Ds1 has his first school fair this evening. Dropped some marbled chocolates off this morning, but need to finish presidents shortbread (using up the failed batch of fudge before I eat it :o) and make something else later.

At least 3 WM loads, and a dishwasher to fill and empty. This is the last week of renovations before we start the grand tidy up.

Lil me - Wilkos sent my dog food by Amtrak - huge box, weighed lots, must have cost them a fortune. The fabric conditioner had the lids taped on and then had been wrapped in a well sealed cellophane bag - very impressed. Just needed a ribbon really.

dusty - i've heard a lot of teachers say that windy weather does make them hyper! i've noticed it in assembly too.

well, i enjoyed sleeping in my own bed for a change (been on the sofa all week!), sadly OH's parents' spare bed this weekend for me... oh well!

am just drinking my hot water and lemon and then will shower and get dressed to leave at 10.30 for my lesson. managed to pack most things last night, i have to travel light this weekend as i'm on the train and on monday i'm going into the office of my new employer, don't want to be dragging a case with me, and am too tight to pay for left luggage!!

Lil_me, not sure where hubby got it, possibly an outdoor shop? But we have a massive gore tex sheet on DD bed and it is 100% water(or wee!) proof!
Its not fitted which is a little bit of a pain, but it is fine once her fitted sheet is on top of it. HTH;)

I got waterproof fitted sheets from littlewoods direct (went via quidco and used a code off hotdeals), I have found them brilliant. DD1 does not wet the bed often but on the couple of occasions she has they have not leaked and they appear to be vomit proof too. Not sure if this will work if not go to littlewoods site and type in product number Cat No: RQ21617

  • Well today I'm at mum's pretty much all day so I'm just going to do level one and possibly level 2 if OH's little one isn't over tonight. We only change the sheets after he's stayed twice which is once a month as that would be the equivalent of 2-4 nights sleeping over. I may try to get the washable blue ink out of the carpet he chose to leave last time.

Car is in for repairs and cleared out handbag this morning. Forgot to send out mail yesterday so will do that in a bit.

Lovely and bright here but so cold. Warming my hands with a cuppa then think I'll put the sheets on the line - lots of pegs will be required.

Not allowing myself out of the house again until bathroom, study and dailies done.

Setting myself a 30 minute challenge when I have finished my cuppa.

I survived the ironing mountain! Also s&s in kitchen, last nights dishes put away, DW emptied and reloaded, TD on, last nights washing hung up.
Going to jump in the shower, then take littley to nursery.
Have to think of something for dinner, have been really disorganised with dinners lately. Need to start making lists again, but i've been working all week instead of hubby so its all gone to pot!

I need to get up from here - been sending an angry email to the local council - no glass/paper recycling for 4 weeks over christmas and no garden waste for 6 weeks - what sort of a service is that.
