Oh.. would you believe we have 'lost' an 8ft christmas tree.. AND a 6ft one too!!!!!!

What are the chances of someone breaking into our house.. going in the loft and stealing nothing but 2 trees?

I have to be in 2 places at once in the morning and again next Wednesday night.. I don't know what people think I am.. oh AND I've been allocated a stall to run at the christmas fair at school.. with 5 children to keep an eye on.. 4 of whom will run off at the slightest chance.. I think that is unlikely as hubby can't just drop everythign at work to come watch them so I can 'help' It is ok for the others.. they have 1 child each, one has 2 children that are most sensible and unlike my loopy lot. Why do people not think????????

pigpen - are you sure you didn't sell it on ebay???

I had a lovely chat with OH's sis on the phone tonight, i was worried about phoning her in case there were awkward silences, but it was fine. she is one of my bridesmaids and is lovely but i don't know her all that well yet as she lives up north. it was fine though :) i have a weird irrational fear of phoning people! i always think i'm interrupting something!

    acheived today:

    bridesmaids presents bought
lunch bought for mum & friend
all bridesmaids stuff moved to friend's spare room (my flat is small and damp!)
Oh's sis phoned and asked her hubby about being usher for OH
emailed people who hadn't replied to wedding invite - think everyone has now!
work expenses done - just need to email them before bed actually!
    got mum's shoes for wedding
    emailed to cancel friday's meeting

wedding stuff we are doing tomorrow:
    seeing florist
    talking to hotel manager (hopefully)
    meeting another friend for coffee
suit hire place to take stepdad's measurements
    list excess stuff on ebay
    seriously boogie my wardrobe
oxfam run (all the stuff in my car boot!)

    Morning
Rach think how much free time you'll have once the wedding's over you've been planning it for months - not long to go now :j

pigpen tell them you can't do it. Or....Is it possible that your mam can go with you and watch them whilst you're stall - ing? and thanks for your kind words yesterday about DD - you too Serena :kisses3:

DD1 seemed brighter last night when she went home.. fingers crossed she's over the worst, we're off shopping today, well she's changing her address back at the bank and I'm buying christmas cards but y'know we'll have a wonder about whilst were there lol.

Did nowt flying wise yesterday, did my dailies but that was all so I'd like to get some done today, maybe play catch-up cause my living room is 'filfee' (I always think of Al Murray when I say that lol)

Oh and pigpen I spotted some Dr Who Top Trumps yesterday, are they any good for your DS's?

Gonna make a brew.....can't believe I posted before making one this morning - I'm keen :D

Tuesday - Lovely Living Rooms and Safe Stairs
    Level One
Vacuum floors in these areas, even if around clutter
    Check fire alarms are working
    Level Two
Move things so you can vacuum under them
Vacuum and wipe (if needed) sofas
Dust any areas below eye level
    Level Three
Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
Clean light switches and light fittings (if you can reach the fittings safely, make sure they are off first!)
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, should the magazines really be on the floor?
Extra Mission Tasks - as usual if you fancy tackling something else you could try one or more of these
    • Clean a radiator or more if you have time
    • Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
    • 27 Fling Boogie, you know the routine, grab a bag and clear that clutter!
    • Sort one drawer or cupboard you've been putting off even opening! Even if it's just for 10 minutes.
    • Find a place for something that doesn't have one, what are you sick of moving from one place to another? or what just gets dumped because it doesn't have somewhere to live? (Partners and children not included, no rehoming of those today unless necessary)
Wednesday - Master Bedroom & Landing

    Level 3
Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed
Wipe door handles, if the frames and doors need wiping do them too
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    • Spend at least 10 minutes clearing a hotspot
    My list:-
    S&S kitchen (doesn't need much as I've been S&Sing after tea :j )
    empty DW
    WM x 1
    TD x 1
    buy xmas cards
    hoover through
    fold washing on maiden
    ^^^take upstairs
    quick S&S of spare room

That's all I can think of...lol Bedroom doesn't need doing I did it last week and it's still perfect. I may spend 10 mins hotspot clearing in littleys room cause that looks like someones emptied 5 bin bags of toys all over it

Pigpen - I'm with Rach - I reckon you sold those trees LOL

Righto - I have tomorrow to catch up with "stuff" then I'm working 6 - midnight, so I'll be working to my own list :)

    Stuff to do tomorrow:
Walk Arsha (or get the kids to do it)
    Get washing up to date
Spend as much time as possible getting business accounts sorted:
    • Post invoices
    • Pay last months accounts
    • Filing (about a months worth to do!)
    • Reconcilate Master Card and Bank Account
    • Prepare GST return
Sort household bills that are overdue or need paying soon
    Tidy computer desk
Take DS3 shopping for shoes and a belt
Find out why van isn't back from getting fixed yet
Set up Christmas decorations in entry
    Mind LO 3 - 6
    Work 6 - 12

That's all I can think of, but I'm sure something else will come up.

    Morning all!

Yesterday I managed to make a huge difference to my lounge and hall, so am very pleased with that.

I blitzed my bedroom a couple of weeks ago - and have had a tidy bedroom for a fortnight - the first time in my life :o Mum, if you ever read this, "see, I CAN do it :rotfl: "

So, this task will be a good one for me, because it is more about keeping on top of things, and doing an extra bit of sorting (drawers, wardrobes etc) rather than starting from scratch!

I have added some extras that I need to do as well.....will report back later.

Have a good day everyone xx

    Morning all

Had to do the rapid return to bed routine with DD2 at 3am this morning, only 4 times but am feeling so tired today, having real problems getting to sleep at the moment. DD1 has an ear infection but is being a star, she is determined to go to school today.

    pack ups done
    Another loaf made last night
Breakfast dishes washed (need drying and putting away)
    Kitchen S & S - floor swept
    DD1 dressed
DD2 playing with the train track that I was going to ebay:rolleyes:

Right half an hour to do hair, teeth and get me and littley dressed.

Kaz - Nightmare about the car! Agree about the man thing but think its a love to hate them circle.

Snaggles - Know what you mean about the meals thing, had to take DD1 to docs at 5.20 last night so did not get home until 6.15 so did beans on toast with cheese and herta sausage - comment from DH, dont do me any I dont fancy any. I know he wanted a takeaway but at the end of the month when i am over my grocery budget he is not a happy bunny.

Right to - best get dressed and my boobs not in a bra are not a pretty sight, although they do hide my tummy somewhat:rotfl:

Lol, def with you on that...let them believe that we think they're equal!

Ladies ladies, I beg to differ....men are the ones in charge and don't forget that!

Now let me explain....we have to let them think they are in charge. If you want to go out somewhere leave hints of where you want to go and they will eventually have a lightbulb moment and say 'hey darling what about going to that place you've been wanting to see/eat at/visit' to which we reply 'what a lovely idea' or when we need something doing around the house like decorating leave details of local decorators/repairmen and suddenly 'I'll do that painting/repair that cupboard' Mmmmm on second thoughts maybe not on the decorating front here! DH was not the neatest of decorators, he would mind the kids, cook dinner whilst I got on with it.

Just remember we mustn't reveal too many secrets of how this world is run, there is a Flyboy lurking somewhere round these parts ;)
