Polly, I'm with you on that one! Its a proper illness, lazyarsitis *nods*.

    I have

    Hoovered downstairs
    S&S kitchen
    Tided living room
    WM x 2
    TD x 2
    Folded and put away clothes
Piled ironing on the bed for the pixies to deal with
    Wrote...wait for it...TWO christmas cards
    Made our bed
    Sorted floordrobe

20mins, I could go do some ironing. *takes pill for lazyarsitis*

Pigpen - how do you lose two trees that size!

Easy.. you ask a man to look for them!!!!

They have definitely not been ebayed.. heck.. you don't get rid of christmas stuff.. what are you all??? You keep it forever and build on it year after year until the loft is well and truly 'insulated'

I am sending him back in the loft to move everything one item at a time.. if I didn't have a mortal fear of cobwebs I'd go look myself!!

Anyway.. today I am not dead I am just busy!!

Embb.. is DD1 feeling better yet? I am thinking of her and sending F'off vibes for her to keep and use at her next necessary convenience. Love to her!

    And my grinchy name is..

Hi all back from shops - went to neighbouring town. Clarkes kids sales not starting til the morning there or in our town.

Have managed to get family xmas cards and the skateboard for DS3 which was only £7.49 so releived by that.

One internet shop arrived - stuff if much smaller than I thought still it will fit in stockings - naughty that it is £4.50 postage and the little box only cost them £1.84 to send still splitting postage with friend so not too bad.

DS3 has a friend for tea so think I'll get the chock in early especially as DS2 and 3 have footie and one lift is not helping as her son in unwell so I will have to do extra lifts.

Shell thanks for the advise. I am such a control freak I feel it all should be done for each room everyweek in the right order so what do I do - very little. Crossing off made me realise I had done quite a lot. It is the dusting (wet wiping) still to do which I hate.

Lilo did you use a tesco direct code? I want to order but I want a code.

I have just read back to the post about someone stealing your parking space, I am so like that! I hate it when someone steals MY parking space! We have a little corner shop next door to us and I only have to nip out and I loose my space!

Anyway, couldn't get on here at all yesterday site just wouldn't load  and I'm afraid I think I have caught the lazyarsitis, so what was that remedie for it?......chocolates and cuddles!:D

Dustykitten-I just rang my local clarks and their sale doesn't start till next week, glad I didn't go into town just for it now!

I've done lots of bits that I needed to do but haven't done my bedroom yet. Think i'll do it whilst my children are doing homework and i'll limit myself to 30 minutes of tidying. Also need to put a wash on, unload dishwasher (children can do this for their advent calendar) and I really must finish christmas cards tonight.

I keep getting stressed over silly stuff that doesn't matter so my challenge every day is to remember to breath a bit more. Simple but necessary! My friend's lent me a book called 'don't sweat the small stuff' so might give that a read. I don't do stress usually so I need to kick it on the head.

Right, off to pick up from school xx

    Afternoonskis

Dusty I try and stay with the 'do the list one week and an upkeep the next' that way I down feel so downtrodden I'd go absolutely mental if I had to do the full list every week, I hate housework, it doesn't always work the way I want it but my house is the best it's ever been so something's working. x

    Hi cat4772 :hello:

pigpen LOL she seems much better thanks, she's made an appointment to get her hair done Saturday and she's off girlie shopping with her best friend Friday AND she hasn't cried today so I'd say so :T x

Tia just call me Scroogeygloom Crankyham Woot! :j

Bought my Christmas cards (now I just need to write them) then had a sleep for 2 1/2 hours  I've woke up feeling a bit grotty, bad chest/sore throat so gonna get me a Lemsip and that get cracking.

Back from school dash - all home safe and sound - cuppa - dinner on - wet wipe living room in that order.

Emm that sounds like a good plan - did little last week so will try to get on top this week and maintain next week - I'll let you know how I go.
