Old Style Weight Loss 2020 - Part 3

YAY - managed to stay on plan today - just not the plan! Even better I had a nibble free day
L - ended up with the left over saag aloo and dumplings as DS decided he wanted to go out for a browse at 1pm before eating and if I don't eat at around 1pm I am known to get very hangry
D - I ended up eating at 3pm when DS was hungry for his lunch so I took him for the sushi I had promised him. I had a vegan combo box which I have to say was quite delicious - the flavourings were so fresh - I do love eating clean food - had some fresh edamame beans in their pods which I love but have only been able to find frozen or shelled.
P- milk chocolate (or 2)
Blue skies today - sunny days

Day 5
Exercise:
not much today - fighting against the blustery wind was quite a feat but no gardening (other than tying up a sunflower), and no strenuous housework, just washing up.
Food:
calories - 1638 (none of the chocolate Swiss roll which was demolished yesterday instead and meant I had 1905 calories instead of predicted 1484);
fruit & veg - =5 portions (including grapes, tomato, avocado, mushrooms, rocket)

well done in getting on the scales after a bad week
well done 👏TTBI'm glad the fasting went well 🙂
Molly how nice a holiday to look forward too and keep you on the straight and narrow 🙂 good news that you can use you DH private health care.
i had good intentions today but was led astray my a bacon sandwich at my sister's and a slice of lemon drizzle cake which my nephew had made and wasn't there to protect from us 😁 we spent the afternoon sitting in the garden putting the world to rights and I got her opinions on a summer dress I brought half price online from White Stuff I've decided no good in waiting to lose weight to buy something new. The last of the afternoon and early evening was spent in the garden watering etc between which I ate two frozen yogurt lollies which I'm hoping are really 89 calories each as I've eaten the box of four I brought yesterday🤐
The good news is my sister is home from hospital, she does need a scan to check there is no reason for her balance issues
B - banana
L - bacon sandwich, half a packet of crisps and slice of lemon drizzle cake
D - ham and cheese omelette with salad
S - grapes, two guuud frozen yogurt lolliesLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin11 -
Hi All went off piste today when I came across a pork pie at a b'day lunch, so might have to eat bit more salad this week and a bit less ... lots of things. Had an absolutely lovely day though, and it was worth taking my mind slightly off food and very much on to good friends.
Not much exercise as was too windy for me to be swimming but went for a family dog walk and biked to the lunch.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Confessing to a mini magnum after tea tonight. No one to blame but myself! On the plus side I've diligently planned all my menus for next week. Night all.A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it

Good morning, everyone
Dear monna sorry about the questions, it’s a sign of either my youthful enquiring mind, or second childhood. (Note to self: no more questions to Monnagran!) Genetics, huh! 50% of genes from each parent, no guarantee of which 50%. Barbara Goode, good choice! Nearly as good as Felicity Kendall.Brambling, thank you for the offer of the “heavy mob”I admire your restraint re the yogurt lollies, I have to admit to a day last week when my lunch was an entire pack of (mini) choc ices (hence part of the gain last week). Really glad you sister is home, best wishes for her good recovery.
Best wishes to all in sticking to your meal plans, exercise regimes, etc.

Good morning everyone
I have weighed myself this morning and I can report a 2lb loss. I'm very grateful as I have not had the best week. Brambling can I please be put down for 14lb for this challenge.
I am very tired but I am in a good mood as my sister is coming to visit me for the first time since lockdown started. She is coming to pick up 3 dragon babies I have knitted for her grandchildren so I hope she likes them. I have been knitting so much in the vain hope it will stop me eating so much, I can report that it doesn't work and all the toys I have knitted have the faint whiff of chocolate about them.
I have planned todays food as follows:
b - porridge and a banana
l - pea and ham soup and toast fingers
d - cod in parsley sauce with green beans, carrots and a jacket potato
s - apple and a nectarine
Well, Monday is here again and my diet starts here again too. Let's see if I can get past the middle of the week this time!
