Good morning everyone
Wow! What a lot to catch up with! 7 pages!! I’ve no chance of responding to you all individually so I’ll just wish you all well with your weight loss however you choose to tackle it.
Very best wishes to all who have health problems and wishing you a swift and satisfactory resolution. 🤞
Congratulations to all who’ve lost weight or STS 👏👍Weighing in today: 2 Purple Devils 👿👿 please, Brambling. My demons are not slain but have been mostly shoved back into their holes and the stones piled back on top. (Secret anti-demon weapon 🔫 - cheese. I don’t think a haircut 💇🏻♀️ will make any difference, sadly, whenever it happens, unless it grows to eat-your-heart-out-Rapunzel 🧝♀️ length.)
menu plan for today
B : porridge (achieved)
D : steak & kidney casserole (with onion, celery and carrot), tenderstem broccoli; strawberries and cream; 1or 2 glasses red wine
T : ham & tongue salad (leaves, tomatoes, cucumber); possibly cinnamon yogurt
S : possibly 2 squares 85% chocolate with coffee
Best wishes to all for the coming week, stay safe and well“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Hi everyone
1st Sunday weigh in and I'm pleased to report a 1½lb loss please Brambling.
cranky Sorry to hear you've been poorly, sounds nasty.
I managed the fast yesterday quite well, it was a quiet day with no real demands on me. I got a bit headachy early evening so had a black coffee which cured it, apart from that just hot water with a slice of lemon in. So next week I'm increasing to a 2 day fast, days to be decided.
Todays food will be;
L - porridge (craving it!) Melon.
D - hm beef burger with broccoli and courgette. Live yogurt with apple.
Anyway, happy shedding everyone! 🌻A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks10 -
Morning Losers.
Ooh, I feel all your pain. I'm a true empath! Choc cake and choc chip cookies are the breath of life to me. I wonder which evil character decreed that all the most delicious food should also be the most fattening. I've been idly reading the gossip columns and learned that if I only swap my black coffee for green tea, start the day with a large glass of cider vinegar in water, take cold showers and sleep soundly for 8 hours a night the svelt body will be mine.
Yeah. Right.
Back down to earth and I have to spend a morning in the kitchen. I have some very sad looking veg to be turned into soup, a loaf of bread must be made, (no low-carb for me) and I have promised my DIL some cheese scones to take into her office. I'm thinking that wearing my anti-covoid mask may stop me licking spoons and popping documents into my mouth. (ODDMENTS, tablet, ODDMENTS!)
It's either that or sewing my lips together.

Oh dear Im not doing so well this week x
Im luckily going to have to avail myself of DH's work health care again as no appointments available again via NHS.
Ive been on the raspberries and cream again and made chocolate eclairs again this afternoon in a bid to take my mind off things. I have been busy though (well busy for me!) so hopefully not too much damage done. Im into damage limitation atm though.
Ive sorted my room of doom and got my recumbent bike in place - now I have to use it!!!
I have a bit of an incentive as we have booked a short midweek break just for DH and I which will involve swimsuits so must try harder x
We go in a month so have some time.
Thank you for all the kind comments.
Good luck and well done xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.11 -

Thanks for that Sirens. Documents may be low fat, but I can assure you that my oddments weren't.
Dearest Bloggy, you know that my very existence exists to answer all your questions. What else do I have to do? As for whose svelte body I'll get, I've requested Barbara Goode's in The Good Life, but I believe there is a waiting list. I fancy little and cute. I bet I could do little and cute really well, given half a chance. Life is so unfair. I have a little and cute mind, it's only the wretched body that won't play ball. If life was fair I'd have inherited my father's thick wavy hair and white even teeth and my mother's shapely legs. As it was I got my mother's thin, fine straight hair and rotten teeth and my father's tree trunk legs.
As for who will get my body......evil chuckle......I have a little list. It will be payback time.
Apologies to anyone who might have come here hoping for hints, tips and encouragement in the matter of losing weight or to find out what I have eaten today.
What I have eaten today?
