Good morning all,
I've had a bit of a rough week - I think a gallstone was a bit stuck last weekend. I started to feel a bit better round about Thursday and I'm fairly sure that I'm ok now. I had a lecture off my sister about leaving things but with a 15 year old son and nobody to mind him overnight hospital isn't an option unless it's an emergency.
I'd like to report a loss of 0.5 lbs this week please. I think that's a first for me. Usually I have a week off between the end of one challenge and the first weigh in of the next. I haven't felt much like eating this past week but when I have I've tried to be healthy. The sugar free went a bit off course too - no sweeties but I had jam on dry toast a couple of times. I've started that again too, from Thursday.
ttb good luck with your plans.
Good luck with the next challenge everyone and take care all of you10 -
Morning xx
I seem to have lost this week in work and brain fog. It was June at this house until this morning - just turned over all the calendars. I've not written down what I've eaten which is not a good sign. I ended the week in style with pizza and chips delivered to the house. After a topsy turvy week and stress at work I needed it and. boy, did I enjoy it.
So I'm writing off this week and I am so tempted to say I'll start again on Monday. No you will not, Roundtuit. You will start again NOW. (And you'll be glad you did on weigh day!)
One day at a time.
Hugs to all

Well said Roundtuit, I had a bit of a lost day yesterday, ending in a large bar of chocolate and I though sod it I'll start again on Monday, but I've just had a banana for breakfast, and decided to start again today (although tomorrow I shall make a Victoria sandwich cake for pud)
I weighed in with a sts this week which I'm happy with as I can start a fresh.
B banana
L Ham and salad sandwichD burritos with salad, I shall just have the rice and meat and veg, no breads'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

Hi
Well done losers and sts.
Molly hope the 2 week wait passes quickly for you. Crisps are my downfall too ditty particularly ready salted pr*ngle type gluten free ones. I like to get my exercise done and dusted early too nananibbles anything else after is an added bonus though I usually have to recline for quite awhile on the sofa to recover. Hope the fatigue doesn’t last long Greenbee. Hope you’re over the worst Cranky, my oh had to have his out. Hope your fasting experiments go well tighteningthebelt.
Today’s menu
Breakfast: strawbs, rasps, Greek yoghurt, desiccated coconut. I had to get a different brand of yoghurt and it’s delicious and less carbs so I can have more 😁downside is it’s quite a bit more expensive. Coffee n cream.
Lunch: omelette containing spinach, peppers, onion, toms and cheese, blob of ketchup. Small portion of choc avocado pudding.
Dinner: 3% fat burger, cheese, onions, ketchup, mustard, gherkins in iceberg wrap, crispy salted spinach, side salad. Choc chia pudding if I’ve room.
Evening snack: milk chocolate.
Take care all.

Hi there Losers.
A bit late to the party today as have just returned from having my hair cut, so am feeling a bit lightheaded. The friend who had given me a lift then invited me in for lunch. I'm very glad that I did my weigh in before I left the house this morning.
I can start this Challenge with a 2lb loss.
That disposes of the 2 lbs I put on at the end of the last challenge. This week's tip. Do not have your fences painted if you are trying to lose weight.
Well done everyone for sticking to your diet, picking yourself up and carrying on if you've fallen off the famous wagon and for just generally being your lovely normal selves.I believe that friends are quiet angels

Ditty1234 - better a 1lb gain and a 2lb loss than the other way round
I’ve read a few news articles where people had covid symptoms that lingered for many weeks, I hope your fatigue shifts soon Greenbee.
Molly41 - my DS insisted on treating me to a large piece of chocolate cake to munch on as we watched a film this evening - of course it would have been rude to refuse such generosity! - your half a choc chip cookie pales in comparison
Well done on your loss Cranky and I hope you’re not suffering too much with your gallstones, I know they can make you feel terribly ill.
I know how you feel about writing the week off Roundtuit, I’ve decided this week is a practice run for me!
A great start Monnagran - that's four weeks worth of weight loss target for me.
Managed to drag myself out early this morning for my run along the beach front. Surprisingly there was no-one else around, I think the rain and wind must have put them off. 600 exercise calorie burn off for the day.
I sat on the sofa for much of the day, something I rarely do but it felt like such a treat and it was nice to spend the time with DS.
Nibbles were much reduced as I didn’t need to cook too much and there’s no DGDs left overs to scoff. It was a good job given the size of the chocolate cake DS got me. I would ordinarily have eaten a little and saved the rest but he went out of his way to go and get it and it was his way of thanking me for what I do for him, it was bloomin’ nice too. Lunch ended up being saag aloo with a couple of Trinidadian dumpling that DS’s neighbour made and gave to us. Delish.
Hoping to be on plan tomorrow

Well done all you losers a great start to the quarter 👏👏
Cranky ouch re the gall stone, I know from my own experience they can be painful, I ignored mine for years until it refused to allow me to
I'm blaming meno brain Greenbee for forgetting to take the spreadsheets off line to work on 🙄 it should make Monday a little easier thanks 🙂
good luck with the fasting TTB not eating makes me very very grumpy
You've reminded me that I haven't had smoked tofu in ages Nanna I do like it with a coconut and peanut butter sauce which isn't the most diet friendly but very nice 😁
i did my first big shop in Sains since March and spent far more than I have for months 😳 but I'm all stocked up at least. I've a fridge full of fruit as well 🙂
L - lentil loaf with beetroot and gherkins followed by SF jelly and berries
D - pan fried hake, jersey royals, asparagus and home grown French beans and asparagus
S - apricots and grapes

Good morning all,
Grey and windy here this morning but no rain yet, hoping it will hold off so I can take DS out for a socially distanced mooch. I have a day off my exercise on a Sunday, I'm prone to injury and can feel it in my knees at the moment
Brambling, I have a wonderful recipe for an African dish which includes chickpeas, sweet potato, red peppers with peanut butter and coconut milk. Its extremely hearty but boy you can feel your arteries clogging with every mouthful.
I'm going to have to get a bit tougher on myself and reduce my intake as its weigh in for me on Tuesday and the scales aren't happy with that chocolate cake or any else Ive eaten that wasn't on plan!
Menu Plan:
B - porridge and bits
S- fruit salad
L - TBC (depends if we're out and if so what's open)
S - satsuma
D - Spicy Black bean stew with purple cabbage sauerkraut greens and brown rice
P - small chocolate bar
Have a wonderful day

Morning xx
Let me get my butt back on the shiny wagon and show this blubber that I mean business! I'm thinking of putting up photos of me, before I piled on the weight, as an incentive. I'm not (totally) daft I know that I'm not going to go back to how I looked 30 years ago but if you aim for the stars you might reach the moon (or something like that).
Raising my mug is a toast to you all
