Well done on your losses dumpling and zippy. 🤸♀️🤸♂️
Today I'm having;
L soup and fried mushrooms, banana and yogurt.
D courgette bolognese, melon.
I've nominated Thursday Friday as my trial fast days this week so that'll be 60 hours. Jason Fung says the second day is the worst but I havent got much to do Friday so should be ok. Maybe I'll wake on Saturday bounding with energy, you hear people say that!
Have a good day all 🙂🌼A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it

Hello lovelies
After a day of party food, cake and some bubbles and a late dinner yesterday I am trying to be more strict for the next coupe of days. So so far I have just had coffee and water. Will make porridge around 10, leftovers and vege for lunch, dinner might be sausages and baked chips, so will have a small portion, but I'm also planning to go walking w dog, a short run and maybe kayaking later - it's a bit windy though.
Have a mighty Monday all.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Well done on the lossesx
Glad your sister doing better Brambling x
Ive Kn@akered myself so am having a breather. Contemplated doing cycling at 2am but didnt want to wake anyone up! Going to have a go later so I can have some raspberries and cream ! (mouth salivating at the very thought) x
I just wanted to mention to tighteningthebelt that you need to be careful of steroids and bi-polar. The steroids make me hypomanic still (generally the morning ones) and I'll never know if starting them tipped me into a manic phase.
Well i hope you have a good day - washing to sort!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

Afternoon (just) all.
Well done losers. Especially Dumpling, I know how difficult it is for you and you did well. Have a good time with your sister.
Blue, keep the questions coming, it gives me something to write about. 50% of each gene pool would be great if it worked in your favour. Both my parents and my brother were slim, sporty and energetic. As were the entire family on both sides. I was a throw-back to a Great (or maybe GreatGreat, can't remember) Grandmother who, my aunt told me, was considered to be fat and lazy. Poor woman. She was probably like me, born overweight and permanently tired.
ttb, good luck with the fasting. Let us know about the boundless energy bit, I could do with some.

molly41 tell me about it!!! I dare not tell of my antics last time I had steroids!! The chemo team are currently talking to neurologist and psych to get the optimum cocktail for me, so it is in hand but thank you ever so much for thinking of me. X

Morning All,
Gingerlily Well done on the loss. I can't believe you managed to forget to eat chocolate, I don't think that's ever happened to me!!
Brambling It's really good news that your sister's home. I'm not sure how I'd feel about lemon curd with quark... And although it looks like I can blame you for the lemon curd craving, deciding to put it in a Victoria sponge with raspberry cream was all my own doing
Molly The first time I ever made my husband lemon curd he thought it wasn't going to taste of much because it wasn't yellow enoughI prefer home made though as I add quite a bit more lemon and less sugar than are in the recipe. Holidays, especially those involving swimwear, are definitely a good incentive for weight loss, it's nice to have something to look forward to as well. Well done for getting your bike sorted out and I hope you enjoy using it after your rest
ditty Well done on the loss and losing a 1/3 of your target is a great milestone. Days where you go a little off plan are worth it for good times with friends
nananibbles Well done for getting the exercise out of the way early, the chocolate cake and resting on the sofa sound like very well-deserved treats. I love vegetarian sushi but have found it increasingly difficult to find any which doesn't involve avocado. I've tried really hard to like it but it's something I just can't eat.
greenbee I hope that the fatigue eases up soon and the bone graft doesn't sound like it's going to be much fun but well done for getting organised with easy to eat and nutritious food
LittleVoice Sometimes getting chocolate goodies out of the way as quickly as possible is a good idea and you seem to have balanced it well with lots of exercise and fruit and veg
monnagran Well done on the loss and I hope that you've sorted your BT issue. I didn't watch the Good Life so wasn't sure who played Barbara Goode but Blue Doggy answered my question, I'd presumed that it would be Felicity "treacle bum" KendallI'm not sure whose body I'd pick if I could have anyone's but I'd definitely like to try being petite, I'm much more of a stately galleon
TTB Well done on the loss, it looks like your practice run at fasting went well. I'm in awe that you managed it, I think I'd crumble by tea time, and best of luck for Thursday/Friday.
Cranky Well done on the loss and you have my sympathy with gallstones pain, I hope you're feeling better now. I had mine removed over 20 years ago and still remember how hideous and impossible to function it was when they were playing up.
roundtuit Well done for starting again straight away rather than waiting until today. It's something I find really difficult and the amount of damage I can do in a couple of days when I go into full last-hurrah mode is ridiculous
Sirens Well done on the STS and there are some days which can only be rescued by vast quantities of chocolate
Blue Doggy It's good to see you back and I'm glad the demons are mostly back in their hole and if you direct me to the pile of stones I'll happily sit on top of them. When I have too many potatoes to use up I tend to make a mountain of bubble and squeak and then freeze in handy little portions for cba days.
SandyShores Welcome and best of luck
dumpling Well done on the loss and enjoy the visit with your sister. I did chuckle at the chocolate-scented knitted toys
zippy Well done on the loss. Wow, in and out in 6 hours!! Either things have moved on a lot since I had mine done or you're a lot tougher than me, I was in overnight and they were debating keeping me in for a second as I found just walking to the toilet exhausting.
Well, I'm starting this challenge a lot better than I ended the last one and have lost -2lb, despite the cake baking at the weekend. I think the fact that I was on the go for most of Saturday, so a smallish piece of cake ended up being breakfast and lunch, and worked yesterday, so didn't have time for snacking, helped. Work's been a bit busy this morning so all I've had so far is vast amounts of coffee and am trying to convince myself that a salad for lunch will be much nicer than lemon curd on toast.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone.10 -

Hi all. Finally managed to weigh myself on sat morning. Lost 1 lb. Had been hoping for 2 as I walked up the hill to work and back on 3 days last week. But at least it was a loss.
OH and I went to the seaside to reclaim our holiday cottage at the weekend. We last visited in Feb and were greeted by the dessicated remains of my valentine's Day roses , which I'd forgotten on the table when we left.
OH still has not noticed there is now nearly a stone less of me than there was in April.
I was a complete disaster at the weekend, variously indulging in chips, posh crisps, chocolate, a sausage roll and liquorice ( mostly OH's fault). I am now firmly back on the horse. I will make myself walk to work and back Tues - Fri ( overslept today) and be as active as possible when IN work. I WILL do this!
By Sat 18th July I want to lose at least 3 lbs. This would take me down to 12st 13 i.e into the next "stone zone". I think this would be very motivating, so I'm going to make a really superhuman effort. Watch this space, people!

HiWell done losers, hello sandyshores. Izadora, it was the first (and last) time I’ve ever forgotten about chocolate. I was beyond annoyed then mad at oh for not reminding me.
Yesterday I had 3 not 2 coffees, a mug of tea with almond milk then a mug of tea with milk which had me contemplating gluten-free biscuits again.
Today’s menu
Packed breakfast: hardly any Greek yoghurt and 2 strawberries and some raspberries so also ate my packed lunch boiled egg. Very large coffee with cream.
Elevenses: tall americano with cream.
Late lunch: 2 slices of ham and a little cheese.
Afternoon snack: choc avocado pudding with a few raspberries.
Dinner: chipolatas, buttered cabbage and baby beetroot.
Laters: milk chocolate.
Take care all.

Hello x
Well I managed 35 minutes on my recumbent bike - that burnt 100 calories? Felt more and legs mega wobbly never mind its a start. I have found a note book and shall try and up my game gradually xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
