Nooooooo molly41 that is not fair!!! Hope all goes well and your 2 week wait isn't a 6 week wait like it could have been last time. Good luck sorting your room/gym out.
Brambling good for you sticking up for yourself. Sometimes it is necessary.
Nananibbles I eat when I'm cooking too... I'm usually ravenous before I cook. Its hard habit for me to break but I try to stick to veg and essential teaspoon tasting to refine flavour.
Ditty1234 I know what you mean - there is no way my shed weight is lodging here again. Maintenance is a very real challenge.
Honeythewitch hi and welcome back! Fresh new challenge.
gingerlily i have lots of measurements on the go, it was a tip i got on here a while ago... kgs and ½kgs, % of body weight and % of target weight, lbs, bmi. I'm always ticking something off. Sad really but works for me as theres always a target just in reach.
Littlevoice Your long brisk walks sound good.

A mixture of gardening, cooking and giggling with DGD for me today. Managed an additional 250 calorie burn from my exercise which I probably used up nibbling on DGD's leftovers and eating numerous taster mouthfuls of the chickpea tuna as I couldn't quite get it to taste the same as the last time I made it. Had a lunchtime menu change as DD made mushroom risotto so substituted that for my soup but still had my stirfry greens. Didn't get time to make the red cabbage slaw so had a simple salad, and corn on the cob with my chickpea tuna and jacket potato Finished the day off with my smidgen (and a half) of chocolate and coffee cake with smearing of clotted cream. Tomorrow I am going to post on here all the bits I nibble on in the hope it will deter me from having to write an embarrassingly long list!

Brambling said:That's an impressive drop in size SillyVixon I know you've worked hard for it
. Are you happy with where you are or are you looking to drop another size?
I don't think I want to go any smaller but I do need tone up in areas! My legs are fine as I have been walking lots, and will continue this, usually I would walk to work and back and will do in the future, but I am currently needing to use my car as its a 28 mile round trip but once back in my usual role I will walk (weather permitting). I have had a previous complex shoulder fracture and abdominal surgery which resulted in an incisional hernia that has been repaired with partial success, so I have to be careful with what I do. I work 4 days on 4 days off at the moment so am trying to put in more steps on my rest days. So my goal for now is not putting anything back on. I feel swimming would be the best way of toning my problem areas, but at the moment this is not possible, I used to swim loads 15 years ago and would like to start again once it is possible, but will need to build it up slowly.

a busy day ahead of me so I'm hoping not to nibble too much. Heading back home for a couple of days to give DD and family a bit of time to themselves. Taking my son along too as he's been in lockdown on his own. Looking forwards to some fresh sea air (and wind and rain by the looks of the weather forecast). Need to do a bit of meal prep for DD first, pop into work for a couple of hours then home till Monday. I need to make sure I plan my meals for the weekend otherwise I'll be making the wrong choices as DS is as bad as me when it comes to munching down on chocolate.
Meal Plan:
B- porridge and bits
S - fruit salad as I have lots of pineapple and melon that needs eating up
L - hummus and salad sarnie
S as above plus a boiled sweet to satisfy my sweet tooth.
D - smoked tofu stir fry with brown rice, quinoa and roasted cashews
P - remains of the cake - it would be rude not to
Smelling the roses

Morning!
Meal plan for today;
L butternut soup, 25g cheese, orange.
D chicken fajita without wraps with courgette on the side, stewed apple and live yogurt.
1 chocolate biscuit available to me... we will have a staring match all day, but I have no doubt it will win!!!
Have a good day everyone. 🌼A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it

Afternoon All,
Sorry for the lack of posting. Start of the month / end of first quarter meant I spent a couple of days in reporting, spreadsheet hell.
bargainhunterss Welcome to the gang. I'm another one finding that working from home leads to far too many temptations
Black Saturn and Blue Doggy I hope things are getting less difficult and that the demons are quietening down
Brambling That's really good news about your sister, complaining is always a good sign
monnagran I loved the halo and horns comment
Molly Sorry you've got another referral and I hope that all goes well with it
ouraggie Congratulations on the loss
SillyVixen You're quite right to be proud of yourself, that is one hell of an achievement
TTB 60% of what you want to lose is incredible and best of luck for your treatment
I can't remember who it was who mentioned lemon curd the other day but I've had a real craving for some so picked up lemons when I went shopping at lunch. I fear that I'm in for a bit of a shock when I work out the calories in it though!!
Not really much to report here. I've been busy working and spent the past two evenings putting flat-pack furniture together so that's helped with reducing the amount of time available for snacking. I can't say I've eaten brilliantly but I've definitely upped the veg and reduced the chocolate intake so little steps in the right direction.
Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx8 -
Hi
Fridays are official weigh day for me -0.5lbs please Brambling.
Hope you enjoyed your raspberries and cream molly it’s such a short season when they are at their best.
Not sad at all tighteningthebelt, I’ll be adopting all those as well now. I’d never thought to track progress in so many ways, it’s going to be helpful in keeping me going for sure.
I find I snack less when I’m busy too Izadora, evenings when I’m watching telly are the worst for me.
Didn’t get chance to post yesterday. I forgot to eat my evening chocolate snack Wednesday, very out of character lol. Yesterday I stuck to plan starting with yoghurt and berries, plannedover portobello pizza with salad then spicy pork and veg stir fry for dinner. Choc chia pudding for afters. I made sure to remember the chocolate in the evening.
Today I knew I’d be out but cba to prepare a pack lunch last night and overslept this morning so didn’t have time. I also ate breakfast 2hrs later than usual as the spoon got left at home. I usually have to eat breakfast shortly after getting up, I managed ok this morning, perhaps because I was distracted whilst out the house.
Breakfast: large coffee n cream. Eventually strawbs, rasps and Greek yoghurt.
Lunch: Italian platter from grocery store which was salami, smoked provola cheese and smoked prosciutto, was the only thing closely suitable.
Afternoon break: tall americano with barely any cream.
Dinner: tuna salad cream ( run out of mayo) salad. Choc chia pudding.
Evening snack: milk chocolate.
Take care all.

Well done Gingerlily and first on the chart for the quarter
Izadora I share your painI've been trying to save large complex spreadsheets which don't want to save using my home connections, too many calculations and the realisation that I was right when I told their creator that we needed to split the data into smaller chunks
I'm guilty of mentioning lemon curd although I tend to buy a jar and haven't made it for a couple of years, I was recently told to make it using quark or fat free yoghurt and sweenteners rather than butter and sugar but I'm not convinced if it will be as good as the 'proper' stuff.
Enjoy a little peace and quiet nananibblesas long as it's not raining i don't mind walking along a beach in any weather I used to love living near the coast when i was younger as there's something about the beach in winter
We've been short staff today so I've actually managed to finish on time no manager to keep me workingjust trying to ignore the emails pinging in as I'm still on the works laptop and hope no one skypes me
B - Over night oats and banana
L - Lentil, cheddar and veg bake, with salad
D - Airfired chicken in breadcrumbs, chips, HM Coleslaw and runner beans
S - Fibre one brownie bar, apricots

Thank you for your kind comments - I hope it's nothing - but I have had it 3 years and my GP went very quiet when he saw the offending issue, took a picture, sent it off for a second opinion and here we are another two week wait! Ive been in shock tbh as Im wondering what's next! I thought last year was bad health wise but this year has been full on so far!
Anyway enough of my ramblings Im another who has a pash for lemon curd - sorry not going to make it - I love the really yellow stuff!! A little bit on hot toast I think!
Raspberries and cream as per usual going to have some strawberries tomorrow for a change. The novelty has not worn of yet !
Hope you have a good evening xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.10
