Hello waiting for the Bonnie to wake up xx
Lovely words Monna xx
I didnt have such a good day yesterday lots of picky eating and no real meals made me feel meh!
Going to try harder today.
Hope @tighteningthebelt is ok she hasn't posted for ages - thinking of you - let us know you ok xx
Have a good Sunday - Ive got roast dinner - a real treat x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.6 -
Thanks molly41, so glad Bonnie is settling in.
My pussycat trial didnt go so well. I was very wheezy after just a few days. I waited to see if it settled but it didnt. Luckily she was able to go back to the same foster parent so it wasnt too many upheavals for her.
Weight wise I've missed a post but lost 5lb over the fortnight (including a chemo fast) please Brambling. I've lost 90% of what I want to lose now which I'm very pleased with, it's taken 13 months so far.
I read back on all the posts I'd missed and everybody seems to be doing ever so well, its fabulous!
Have a good day all 💛🙂
A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks5 -
Hi All HI Brambling thank you so much for looking after us, in the two quarters I have been on here I have gone from rising overweight to only being about 2 lb from not being overweight/getting my BMI under 25 that is why I really want to move on. But it is bad timing as it is the beginning of term, and I am pretty much just working constantly. But who knows a lot can happen in 10 days.
TBT that is an amazing loss, and I hope your treatment /recovery is going well/to plan.
I could definitely not do this on my own!Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Yesterday was a lovely day and I did get for a little walk. Wasn't very good with my eating though. Got an irresistible urge for a sausage sandwich. I think I eat too much of all the wrong things when I get stressed.
Today it's looking a bit dull and miserable so I think I'll get the old clothes on and have a cooking/cleaning day. Two pots of soup bubbling away on the hob for the Boy already.
Today:
Breakfast: Watermelon and strawberries
Lunch: Salad or maybe poached egg on toast.
Dinner: Roast beef. Better lay off the roast potatoes after yesterday.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
sts this week
I have 2 lb left for my target weight and 10 days, but it's my birthday next week and I'll be very happy if I stay the same weight!
Monna you made me cry with your lovely story! Your dog was so lucky.7 -
Son in law came round with a freshly baked baguette yesterday.
hes a sourdough lockdowner!
it was delicious and just had to be eaten on the day, then i had a couple of sausies with my roast veg dinner so not the best day!
weigh in toMorrow for me, Well done to those who have lost and or nearly reached target weight!
part of my problem is rewarding myself with food when I've had a few good days is its counter productive. DuhNorn Iron Club member 4736 -
Good day, everyone.
monnafor your lovely Millie, she sounds like a really characterful dog.
ttb congratulations on your big loss 👏 I’m sorry to hear about the cat experiment though.
Ditty well done, you’ve made amazing progress, something to hold onto when the challenges of work tempt you to throw all that good hard work away.
I had to go out to buy more dog food today, and had to really fight off the cake demons on the way - there was a choice of four cake-peddling establishments (or supermarkets as some people call them) luckily the nearest to the pet shop didn’t open until 11 and it was only 10.30, so I managed to point the car away and go.
Weighing in: STS again.Today:
B : porridge
D : pork leg steak, cabbage, carrot, runner beans; strawberries & yogurt
T : cheese, apple, olives
S : none (I hope!)
Have a good week, all!

I probably should not do this as it will come back to me later, but I would like to report a one and a half lb off. I decided to keep a closer look this week and so far my weekend exercise worked its magic. Thanks for listening I just had to share that before I rock into work and hide myself in an office to do remote lessons for 6 hours and then a classroom for 4 more! Artytarty we get trained from babyhood - by our parents, teachers, everyone really - to associate food (usuallly sweet food 😢) with reward. Can you replace, as a reward, sweet food with something else? A few minutes doing something you really enjoy?
Senior Doggy is still waking to go into the garden several times in the night. At present, it’s been really quite warm until about 4am, and the stars have been really beautiful. The only sounds are a few owl calls and the odd distant fox.Food for today:B : bacon and eggs, with a tablespoonful of cabbage left over from yesterday (is that “bubble” or “squeak”?)
L : hm veg soup with toast; satsuma
D : salmon salad; yogurt with raspberries
S : hopefully none

Logging in to post a 1 lb loss.
at one point during the week it was 2 and i was hopeful for even another half but 1 it is.
ill have to re-examine my diet.
I walk the dog every day but rather more slowly than i used to As i take my elderly mum and her elderly dog with me. Its not really enough for me or my dog if im honest.
