  • Toni'sfriend - really hope you manage to get away at the weekend.  Surely a piece of cake won't hurt, you seem to be very good from your menu.

As you can tell I'm trying to post more often, you'll probably all be begging me to stop by the time my holiday ends!.

Had a lovely long walk this morning, off to my local high street to buy some non food bits and pieces.  I might sound old fashioned but I always buy a page a day diary, already getting routine eye appointments for next year  I love technology but it has been known to crash and I've lost the odd diary entry, paper doesn't crash and I'm very good at putting all those important dates in it.

Food wise, all is going well so far despite being off work but it's early days, will have to see what the scales say on Friday which I  think is the final weigh in this quarter.  Stomach is rumbling so off to the kitchen in a minute to turn off my slow cooker and have chilli with brocolli.
  • Thank you, Marion. I'm trying. I love a paper diary and address book. Don't trust myself with technology.

Feeling a bit shivery and light headed today. Nothing nasty. I have a sinus problem that causes this from time to time. Himself brought me tea and toast in bed for breakfast. Don't know what I'll have for lunch and there are burgers in the fridge if I feel that I can eat them. If not I'll have some soup.

Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.
  • Hello All

Something has just occurred to me, can I check about weigh in's at the end of the quarter challenge?.  I'm aware that this one ends on Wednesday next week, so do we all weigh in on that day or just use our normal weigh in day and carry on as normal?.  I have assumed it's the usual day but just want to check.

    Hello x
Its very quiet on here at the moment x
Bonnie didnt do very well at puppy playgroup - I think she was overwhelmed. She plays beautifully with puppies and dogs when out for her walk but we didnt go with her - don't think its the right environment for her. I missed her dreadfully while she was away so don't mind so much. She has really become my darling - of course Molly always was X

Eating is mixed. When on the Eating disorders programme you HAVE to eat 3 meals a day and two snacks and expect to put weight on which I find daunting. The recommendation is for me to participate so will have to get my head round it. Still its 9 months off so plenty of time to lose the weight ive put on!! I will continue to post here as you are so supportive and kindx

Hope you all ok and have a good day xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Just been finalising my order to be delivered to our holiday accommodation. People must be stockpiling again. Limit on toilet rolls (not that I was going over that anyway), pasta, beans, tinned fruit all out of stock. Just taking what I can with me and will adapt. As it's a village very few local shops but luckily a very good butcher and a shop that sells bread milk and vegetables (depending on what's available).

    So today

    Breakfast: Strawberries and blueberries
    Lunch: Prawn salad
Dinner: Burgers that we didn't have yesterday
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.

Marion I keep an eye on the old challenge for a few days so if you want to have a final weigh in on it after the 1st Oct that's ok or you can leave until your normal weigh in day.  Its not a competition so whatever you are happy with

Toni someone was telling me last night that our large Tesco had a lot of empty shelves when she went in about 6pm, I'm avoiding SMs at the moment, although I will need to top up on F&V at the weekend.

Weigh day yesterday and +1lb for me, unfortunately not a surprise as I had been picking this week
