Artytarty take one meal / one day at a time and try not to beat yourself up about it
Draw a line under it and start again and if things go pear shape we have a naughty step
i was speaking to my sister earlier and we were both saying we were fed up of still doing this but the alternative isn't so great, I've joint pains and a bad family history of high blood pressure and heat problems. I'm happier thinner I know I'm never going to be a size 8 but would love to get back into my size 12 skinny jeans which are hiding under the bed
Toni I hope the trip to the hairdressers went ok and wasn't too stressful. I found mine took all the right precautions and know he's asthmatic as well so neither of us wanted to take risks
I'm not sure what I ate to disagree with me yesterday other than using all the flavoured butter which came with the sea bass (I have no gall bladder) but I was awake during the night with stomach cramps which carried on into today. I wasn't ill otherwise and may have felt better if I had. So today has been a day of crackers and a banana. I feel better than I did so hoping to sleep it off tonightLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin6 -
Brambling - I sympathise as I too used to suffer dreadful stomach cramps before my resection as the food used to get stuck - horrible - hope you feeling better x
Debbie - well done on your loss thats brilliantx
Usual can't sleep oh well! Got a virtual appointment for Eating Disorders on Monday so hope it will be helpful.
Not much to say today, Hope you all have a good day xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.5 -
Good morning, All
Brambling sorry to hear you were unwell, I hope you are feeling better now.Brambling said:i was speaking to my sister earlier and we were both saying we were fed up of still doing this but the alternative isn't so great, I've joint pains and a bad family history of high blood pressure and heat problems. It was easy, oh so easy, but shifting it has been hard.
Yesterday’s meeting went well, it’s lovely to talk to friends face-to-face. I was very restrained and had just a toasted teacake with no spread, and brought the butter home with me.
Today’s menu
B : grapefruit, oatcakes with Marmite
L : hm celery soup with toast (if I buy bread when I take Senior Doggy to the vet’s (checkup), otherwise more oatcakes); cinnamon yogurt
D : cheese omelette with salad; yogurt with blueberriesHappy Wednesday, everyone!“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Hope you're feeling better, Brambling. The hairdresser was great, She knew I was quite nervous and didn't book in any other clients whilst I was there. The salon is quite small and she's limiting clients to two at a time anyway. And she never stopped cleaning and disinfecting. It felt very safe unlike the famous pub chain next door which was very busy and no masks being worn by staff. If I was in the habit of going there (which I'm not) I would be avoiding it.
So today:
Breakfast: Banana and watermelon
Lunch: Mozzarella salad
Dinner; Beef olives and veg done in the slow cookerHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
Sorry a late check in 0.5 lb loss last week, thanks Brambling, hope you're now feeling better xx5

Morning Losers,
I've not been around much lately. No excuse, I've just been spending far too much time on my tablet. Having reached my target for this quarter I've been taking things a bit easy. Not going mad and not putting anything on, but not getting anything off either.
As you know, I'm not doing anything too draconian. Not ruling out any food, but eating smaller portions, relishing every mouthful and stopping when I have had enough. It sounds easy, but it's harder than it seems. It's the stopping when I've had enough that gets me every time. My stomach is saying, "whoa! I don't need any more. Prise your fingers away from that fork." My mouth is saying, "My goodness, this is SO delicious, it would be a waste to leave it."
Sigh.
Slow down everyone. Take time to smell the roses. Just don't eat them.I believe that friends are quiet angels
