Thanks for doing the extensive list!
i can sympathise with thenposter misisng her daughter and stuffing her face, im an emotional eater too.
i will be happy with a sts tomorrow morning as its not been the best week.
did some baking for family which i had to sample of course.
had them round last night to watch rugby match on tv and provided supper. Last hurrah before we enter what they call”not lockdown” but NO ONE from any other household is allowed to visit indoors from tomorrow and i think six from two households can meet up outside. We are also strongly advised not to leave our own council area . Sure feels like lockdown, except the shops are open...
its worse than the rule of six many are complaining about and probs means I will miss out on a Big birthday visit from my England based daughter and baby grandson.
so yeah, I had a few gins, bhajis and sausies.Norn Iron Club member 4734 -
Artytarty - I really sympathise. We are in a similar position. No visitors and not allowed to visit anyone else in their homes from midnight last Friday and only six people from two households to meet outdoors from tonight. All the more annoying as we have done everything and more that has been asked of us. Came back early from holiday in March and haven't been anywhere indoors apart from the little row of local shops for all of five minutes at a time. Only people who have been in our house are two little girls who live next door (very briefly) and my son who only started coming back for his Sunday lunch (all of a couple of hours) a few weeks ago and we haven't visited anybody since March. We are going on holiday in two weeks. I've checked and as far as I can see we won't be breaking any rules so unless anything else happens I'll be going. Yes, I'm having a few gins as well even though I said I wouldn't - and the ice cream stock is the freezer is in a very dangerous position today. Hope things get better and you can get your birthday visit.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.4

Hi everyone. Sorry to have been missing for a while, don't know what happened, I just somehow didn't get around to posting.
Glad you had a good break Brambling. Commiserations about the weeds. If you lived nearer I would give you a lend of Ron-over-the-road. They rent their house and the landlord had gravelled and paved most of the garden, so Ron, who is a frustrated gardener has taken over my weedy patch. My back garden is now weed and dead shrub free, a gravel path has been dug up so that I can plant some climbers to cover the fence, and the grass is cut.
Everyone should have a Ron in their lives.
Weightwise, I have another STS. I'm perfectly happy with that. I've probably got a bit complacent, but haven't lost my head completely.
Molly, one day of comfort eating is not a disaster. It's just a pause in the journey and we all need that now and again. xI believe that friends are quiet angels

Hi All
Brambling I’m glad you had a good holiday and lost some weight as well. 👏😀
Weighing in I forgot to post +2lb last week, but it’s ok because this week I’m -2lb (aggregate STS) 🤷🏾♀️
I’m sorry I haven’t posted much lately, “things” have got a bit busy, and then Senior (canine) doggy has been unwell and made several contributions to the vet’s Ferrari Fund 😱 He seems to be okay now, though 🐶
Today’s food has been
B : porridge
D : slow-cooked lamb (meal for one, no veg) with onion, courgette, carrots; yogurt & blueberries
T : smoked salmon salad (no dressing); raspberries with yogurt.
S : 1oz grated cheese
Have a good week, all! Stay safe!“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin5 -
Is it wrong to have Ron envy Monna? My joints flared after gardening so the rest of the weeds are still waiting as are the bulbs I brought today using vouchers from my loyalty card (I think they gave us back the vouchers we couldn't use during lock down)
I hope senior doggy is still feeling better Blue, I once asked my vet where I was sending him on holiday after a bad year. It's just as well we love them, they can cost us a fortune 🐾🐾
lunch was a slice of cake and a cuppa at the garden centre with my sister, we both had vouchers for a free hot drink with a slice of cake 🙂 🍰 Dinner was a healthier salmon salad with new potatoes
back to work tomorrowat least it keeps the cat in dreamies 🐾🙄

Hello x
Nice to catch up x
Ive had a stressful day yesterday. Molly doggy had her sickness (due to heart complaint) which took ages to resolve and involved much pacing up and down and shivering - hate seeing her like that! That allowed Bonnie to misbehave as attention was off her so DH and I divided and conquered! (a strategy we used when the kids were small). All in all a stressful 4 hours - I fully sympathise with those indebted to their vets!!
Bit better eating wise - really need to improve but eating one main meal and enjoying it and breakfast. That is a novelty for me as I really did not enjoy my food - having been forced to eat all my food up (whether I liked it or was hungry) when I was little - really my mother has a lot to answer for!!! (can you tell she is not my favourite person atm). My diary has been very enlightening - it really is a period of learning and discovery !
Anyway sleep is still eluding me time to watch Midsomer Murder xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.3 -
Good morning, everyone
Brambling thank you for updating the chart. Cake for Sunday lunch sounds totally decadent 😀🍰☕️ Glad you had a lovely time with your sister at the Garden Centre.
Molly I hope Molly Doggy is feeling better today, it’s horrid to see them unwell. And little Bonnie sounds like a bundle of mischief 😀
Menu for today (Toni’sfriend check it out for boringness!)
B : bacon & eggs
L : jacket potato with baked beans; cinnamon yogurt
D : lentils with couscous & Med Veg (hm ready meal); yogurt with blueberries (or just blueberries if not enough yogurt!)S : none
Happy Monday, folks 😀“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

Well done to all the losers!Sorry to hear about poorly doggies and vets bills.
my son is an orthopaedic vets so im aware of the traumas he Faces , tries to fix and also how disappointed he is when things dont always work out.
as for me,
a one pound gain. Im fit to be tied today! But I'm not that surprised i suppose.I shall just have to try harder, no wee gins and tasty suppers, no traybake with a cuppa.
i mean, that was only once but I have had a few other misdemeanours.
i had a bad nights sleep, hot flushes and sweats, always a consequence of a big Sunday meal with wine. Let that be a lesson to me, but its hard when the rest of the family are enjoying themselves!Norn Iron Club member 4737
