Oh no Im so miserable - DD has gone back to Scotland and Ive just stuffed my face! I won't see her til after Christmas. Food hasn't helped and now i feel fat and miserable!I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.7 -
Aw, Molly. I feel for you. I didn't see my son properly for three months and it was so difficult. Don't feel fat and miserable. It will pass and you'll back on track. Sending you hugs and support. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6

i spent much of today gardening, a little rain when I was away and the weeds are taking over again. Lunch was a quick cheese and pickle sandwich and dinner was roast chicken, Boulangere potatoes and celeriac with roast parsnips and carrots. I also found a packet of Percy pigs and friends a free gift from my smart card and have just finished the packetat least they are now gone and hopefully 4.5 hours of gardening will counter balance some of them

I'm afraid to report that I'm STS this week. A combination of the cracker incident, Himself's very delicious but buttery mash, too many G & Ts and virtually zero exercise. Must try harder next week.
Today's eats:
Breakfast: Banana and pineapple
Lunch: Prawn and rice salad
Dinner: Chicken with vegHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
Morning all
STS,
Not concerned, I gave up beating myself up years ago as I discovered it just makes things worse and that's partly how I ended up putting on more and more weight!. If I gained or sts it was major comfort eating.
Must try and post more often, by the time I think about it Thursday has arrived and with a WI on Friday I'm literally waiting to get on the scales. Reading all your posts though.5 -
Hi
Congratulations to everyone who’s reached/surpassed quarterly targets, well done losers and sts-ers and commiserations gainers. Hope you are feeling better Molly.Weighin day for me and I’m reporting a STS please Brambling. Sounds like you had a lovely holiday. I do enjoy a scone even gluten free ones but can never resist the clotted cream.
I’m quite thrilled with my sts as I’ve had vodka soda on several evenings this week and small servings of potatoes/rice with a few meals plus a larger milk chocolate allowance most days.I seem to have lost my dieting mojo so need to get that found pronto.Take care all.Old Style Weight Loss Challenge 2025

Rain pouring down here again and we have new restrictions. It's getting very depressing. Still, could be worse, I suppose.
Plans for today:
Breakfast: Banana and strawberries
Lunch: Tuna bean salad
Dinner: Minced beef hotpot.

Am sad to report +one LB too much sitting around, missed runs and well - cake. I had two cake incidents yesterday and a pizza incident on Tuesday. No not terrible but a bit of a setback. So it's back to the drawing board on meal planning for long days of teaching in-front of a screen and in the classroom.
I'm thinking lots of grilled vege, cottage cheese, maybe skyr, frozen berries! The problem is that 2 days a week I have to bring food for a 12 hour day! So will need to be a bit interesting!
Am taking ds back to Uni tomorrow he's a bit concerned after being home since January. I hope he gets a good start to the year.
And I can tell I'm not the only one with a shrinking household. Hope everybody is well out there.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
