  • Hi
I’m behind on reading the thread, hope to catch up over the weekend so will just say well done everyone.

Weighday for me -1.5lbs please Brambling, hope you had a lovely holiday.

My loss makes no sense whatsoever lol,  I’d stayed as was up till Wednesday, didn’t have time to weigh yesterday so I’ve lost that in a couple of days. I’ve made no effort to count calories or macronutrients and have eaten more chocolate this week. Not only plain milk, carameley and wafery plus other gluten free junk which has made me feel quite icky and constantly hungry at the same time. It’s mostly all gone now except the plain milk chocolate shapes and I’ve asked OH not to buy anymore gluten free junk food as it’s not a treat when it makes me feel yucky. Not that I’m complaining about the loss!
    Take care all.

    Morning All,

ditty I hope the news about your mum's operation was good and that the tooth fixing went well

TF Congratulations on the loss. It shows that, even if you feel like you're stumbling about a bit, you're obviously getting it right

dumpling Well done on being angelic and I hope you're feeling better now

TTB I hope all goes well with the home trial of the big, fluffy cat, at least you already know that she's open to bribery

Molly Have a lovely time with your daughter and enjoy the cheesecake/trifle

Artytarty You deserve to be pleased with yourself and well done for appreciating how well you've cut down rather than focusing on a small slip

Marion Well done for the impressive loss, especially having had a hard week

To say that food's been a bit hit-and-miss this week would be an understatement and I seem to have lost all C25K motivation at the moment as well. I'm at week 5 run 3 (run for 20 minutes without stopping) and, having attempted it 4 times, the longest I've managed is 15 minutes so I decided to give myself a week off and go back to the beginning of week 5 on Monday. We've got one of IzHe's friends and her kids (18 and 13 and quite possibly the loveliest teenagers ever) staying this weekend which means we're likely to end up either eating out or getting a takeaway so I really need to try to be as sensible as I can. I'm ever hopeful that the thought of Monday's weigh in will keep me slightly in check over the next couple of days.

Best of luck and stay safe everyone xx

  • That's great news, Ditty

Thank you, Izadora. Think it's going to be a case of re-educating my eating habits but slowly and surely will get me there in the end.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.
