Yesterday was lovely and sunny so walked to the shops and got a bit of salad stuff to last until tomorrow, I try and go out for a walk every day unless it's pouring with rain or a storm. Glad I went early this morning as it's now raining again.
Tomorrow is WI day, pay day and monthly food shop but not necessarily in that order. Any weight loss will be great, this stone I'm trying to lose is really stubborn. Been working at home since March and just been informed that will continue for the foreseeable future, early morning shopping trips and walks look set to continue..6 -
Another awful day today. Rain is pouring down just now.
Today's menu is:
Breakfast - Banana, grapes and pineapple
Lunch - Prawns with pineapple rice
Dinner - Chicken casserole
Tomorrow will be a week since I joined. Quite excited about weighing myself.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
Morning
Well after my first week I can report a loss of 4 & 1/4 pounds. I realise that most if not all of this is water and it will settle down but it's encouraging none the less. I'll be more than happy if I loose 1 pond next week. My food order is coming today with lots of fruit and salady stuff.
Today's plan
Breakfast - Grapes, pineapple and pear
Lunch - Feta salad (if anyone knows of a nice salad I'd be grateful if they could share)
Dinner - Cottage pie and mixed vegetables.
Weather seems to be brightening as well so I hope you all have a good day.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6 -
🍽🍽🍽 Day 3 of fasting and it's going well. I can eat dinnertime tomorrow so that's not long now. I won't fancy anything today as its chemo day.
Toni'sfriend ‐ what an encouraging loss, well done you!!
Have a good day all. I saw conkers on the ground today. 😊💙A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks7 -
Hope chemo goes well @tighteningthebelt xx
I had a sort of good day yesterday well until the evening which is a bit of a difficult time with Bonnie. She gets overtired and bites everything so needs to be distracted.
Anyway got my meals planned for today - I have maintained my weight so pleased with that atm.
Well done on the loss Toni'sfriend - thats very encouraging xx
Well off to browse whilst Bonnie has her nap xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.7 -
Hello All
Had a hectic morning, having an extended Bank Holiday weekend from mid day today, back to work on Wednesday. Was hoping to post earlier but work got in the way, Well done @Toni'sfriend what a good start.
Well, I also have also done my first WI this morning, pleased to report that I have also lost weight -2lb.
Quite pleased as I'm easing in gently (partly due to not having done a proper food shop since starting last Friday). Will wait until the lunch rush at the shops is over and do my main monthly shop. Lots of 'healthy' food planned and salad, veg and fruit will be piled into my trolley.
Lovely sunny day again (at the moment anyway, supposed to be thunderstorms this afternoon according to the online weather forecast). Did my walk this morning.

Oh well done TF. I don't care what it is that's gone, when that needle moves downwards it's a cause for rejoicing.
Thinking of you TTB, hope it all goes well.

I've had a funny week, and not always in a good way - but shopping is coming tomorrow and I have allowed myself one pack of teacakes. Once they are gone they're gone so they may last an hour or a week, who knows!
Will weigh in tomorrow but am having trouble with my scales as they say a different weight each time I use them ( In a different area of the bathroom, it's the only room with no carpet)
Have a good weekend everyone xIllegitimi non carborundumQuot Libra, Quam Breve TempusSPC NUMBER 025

Hi
Well done losers and st-ers and ditty for needing a belt. Commiserations gainers.
Hope it’s going well ttb. Livingproof I’ve tried a smoothie diet once unfortunately I wasn’t successful. I also wanted to incorporate them into my meal plan when I was plant based as I think they are quick to make and would be easy to consume on my commute, always felt hungry a couple of hours later. I’ve had more success with smoothie bowls.
Weighday today +1.5lbs please Brambling.
Back to weighing and tracking and planning meals for me then!
I upped the exercise this week, swimming twice which includes 40 minutes hill walking to get there and back, urban hiking, aerobics and yoga. I weigh everyday and had been the same until Wednesday when I put on 1/2lb a day. The only difference is OH cooking and eating my main meal at dinner rather than lunch on Tues, Wed and Thurs and back to eating 8-9pm instead of 6.30-7ish.
I’m contemplating doing 5:2 this week and seeing how that goes.
Take care all
