Well done to all losers and commiserations for any gains -
Congratulations on hitting your target Zippy
I know the frustration of losing a considerable amount of weight and no one noticing it. I once told a friend after she failed to notice a 2 stone weight lost and she worriedly asked me if I was ill
Ouraggie has your OH noticed yet?
TTB- you're still on targetand all things considering you are going really well so don't be so hard on yourself. I find if I eat too much wheat or even any wheat after a break from it i can easily put on 2lb very quickly

Just grabbing a break from a busy day at work as I'll be on a call until gone 6pm most days this week, I'm trying hard not give in and find something 'naughty' to eat, several of us on the call have also threatened to start on the ginTF if you're ever down in Dorset i recommend Conker Gin made down in Bournemouth it's very nice, whereas Lilliput gin also may in Dorset smells like a wet fir hedge (not sure what it tastes like as it didn't appeal to try) and now I sound like i need AA

Morning
Hope everyone is safe, well and not suffering any storm damage or flooding. Got woken up at 3am by torrential rain and the howling wind. Storm Francis has definitely arrived in style here, I live at the top of a hill and wind is exceptionally strong. Was planning to go food shopping early this morning and then a walk but both on hold. Enough food to manage but need to get more prepared for my new way of eating.5 -
I'm at work and a colleague offered me a banana and some carrots and I'm grateful as I only really brought breakfast which was a pot of cottage cheese and 2 apples.
Have a safe day, I can't see 'Francis' from my window less room. And can only hear the howling of the air conditioning.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Bit wet and windy here today. Think it might be easing off a bit but still miserable. I was intending to go to the local shops for some salad stuff and fruit but it's going to have to wait until tomorrow. Definitely will have to go then as no cucumber. leaves or tomato left.
Today's menu (which must be boring everyone to death):
Breakfast - Banana, grapes and blueberries.
Lunch - Garlic sausage with salad thingies.
Dinner - Mince pies, boiled potato and lots of mixed veg (not the healthiest but not the worst either).
I was really brave and booked a hairdresser's appointment today. They were really lovely and reassuring as I haven't been anywhere since March. They only have two clients at a time but said if I was really concerned they would limit it to just me. Very kind of them but I declined as they do have a living to make and must have really suffered under lockdown. Plus I know they have all the precautions in place. So looking forward to getting rid of this grey frizz.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.5 -
Well, in a before and after type spirit....
B - nothing
L - sausage and egg sandwich
T - Indian meal (out), king prawn kashmir, pilau rice, peshwari naan.

WI Brambling STS please and thank you
Good Morning All,
I'm forcing myself back on it today. I need to accept that my life will be busy for the foreseeable future and that I will just have to work my food around it rather than putting it on hold and waiting till I'm less busy and less stressed. My sugar intake has been through the roof recently so I'm contemplating cutting it out for a couple of weeks. Every morning I say the same thing, then by the evening it goes by the wayside. Perhaps by putting it down here I will have more accountability. I haven't had a chance to catch up with you lovely ladies but I will spend the next couple of days reading back over the last couple of weeks diaries. I'm not sure what my food plan will be today but it will probably involve porridge and hummus in some format and probably tomatoes as I have a glut of them to eat up and maybe can. As I'm still not able to exercise much because of my knees (though they are improving) I'm going to try and avoid snacking in between my meals.
Meal Plan:
B - Porridge and bits
L - hummus salad sarnie
D - wok fried greens, tofu, rice and cashews
P - apple and blueberry porridge with a splodge of a friend's rubarb compot
The sun is shining here

May the force be with you TTB.
And with you nananibbles. Don't forget the magic of giving the sugary treats a piece of your mind ... out loud please. And then telling yourself that you really, really are NOT going to eat them. Also out loud.
Am wasting time on here instead of doing what was planned......more sorting of boxes. A good move as it happens, a friend has just phoned to see if I would like a trip out in the car, just for a change of scene. No sorting of boxes this afternoon either.
I wonder what I can find to do tomorrow.I believe that friends are quiet angels
